So this sounds like Glenn calling the defense. I honestly am not a fan of HCs calling plays on either side of the ball. To me, it's a bad structure, sort of like having the HC and GM on equal levels as opposed to the HC reporting to the GM.
Hey guys I need to come up with a dance for each int by a player just like that Yankee announcer had a hr call for each players hr..... Dc: but coach Glenn we don't get ints. Glenn: well we might get one sooner or later. Dc: well maybe you can do a dance when the other team gets the int.......like you did for a loss last year.
The problem with Glenn is if he turns around it will be a 369 not 180
Glenn couldn't handle the head coaching responsibilities. What are the chances he can function as the head coach and the defensive coach which essentially he is doing by hiring Duker.
The way I see it he has already turned it around with the coaching changes he has made. He made a point of stressing that he was going to be a CEO type of coach and hire competent defense, offense, and special teams coaches so he could develop this team the way it should be developed. It appears to me that he has changed his whole philosophy. What a loser...............
