So we should hear more on Tippman today
"Rookie Joe Tippmann, who was inserted into the starting lineup a couple of weeks ago at right guard, suffered a thigh injury during the game Sunday and could be out a while, per head coach Robert Saleh.

Tippmann will get an MRI on Monday to determine the severity. It could potentially be a significant injury."

Garrett Wilson looks like he will be fine (the bye week is coming at a good time to get these guys some rest)

"Yeah, it was non-contact, initially," Wilson said. "I'm all right, but it was non-contact initially. And then from there, it was kind of like pain management type of thing. So, yeah, just trying to make sure I'm out there for my guys. And if I can't be out there, give them my all, then I don't need to be out there -- because we've got some great guys in our room that can take that next-man-up mentality, and I'm confident in it."

"I have a really good gauge on myself and when it's, 'You can't play through this,' versus, 'Let's go get it looked at, let's go get it touched on and let's get back out there,'" Wilson said. "And, yeah, for me, it's always like, 'All right, how can we get back out there as fast as possible?' I didn't have any injury today that resulted in being like, 'Oh, I might not be able to come back from this one.' And any time I take the field and leave the field with that, it's a blessing from above. But yeah, just like I said, pain management and our training staff's one of the best you can have. And me taking full advantage of that and making sure I'm out there for my guys when I can be -- and, like I said, if I'm not a hundred percent, then I can't be out there."

FYI, with the bye coming up, the Jets don't have to provide an injury report until 10/25 before the Giants game. So updates may be slim until then LOL

So "not drafting a QB" when you believe Zach (the #2 overall pick) can become a game manager and serviceable backup just sounds ridiculous to me. Rodgers may play for a season or two if he can successfully come back healthy and 100%. So who replacing him after he retires "someone who can be a backup???"

In this league you either have a franchise QB or you're looking for a franchise QB. Best bet is to draft someone who can learn for a couple of seasons behind Rodgers and then let them take the reigns.

I’ve been saying it all year long that the Jets should no longer draft a QB in the 1st or the 2nd rounds. Probably not even the 3rd and 4th rounds. 5th-7th sounds about right. They are just horrible at drafting QB with high expectations and can’t seem to develop them.

So maybe if they stopped doing it, they’ll get lucky like the Patriots did with Brady or the 49ers did with Purdy. Draft someone they have no true expectations of starting and maybe they’ll hit the jack pot. What other choice do they have at this point?

What Colin is saying doesn’t make much sense to me either. From what I remember about the video, he’s saying that Zach can be a very good back up for Rodgers but it didn’t seem like he was indicating Zach could be the predecessor when Rodgers is gone.

Well we need a predecessor and Zach most likely isn’t it. Just like Darnold, G. Smith and Sanchez wasn’t either. Pennington could have been our guy but he couldn’t stay healthy. So maybe drafting that diamond in the ruff you don’t expect will finally work!

I really wanted the Giants to lose. Who wants them to go through spirited practice this week? The Ravens shot back to being elite. When Lamar is on, he appears unbeatable. I like him when he throws his helmet down and thinks it's coming back to him like a "Spaldeen".
