both Moore and Wilson can not see over the OL so yes maybe Moore was wide open but if the QB can not see him he won't throw to him...
predetermined route play calls not by the O.C. but by Zach who says he is cycling through his progressions but have to think after week 5 he is predetermining where he wants to go and forces it a bit too much...
Zach is all flash as he was in college...aren't the progressions pre-determined by the play? I am not saying that he is not forcing it too often, but he see the defense for the first read before he takes the snap.
case in point, the muffed exchange in the TN game that he hit #82 with anyway. Zach said he knew it was going to be a big gainer and was excited to get the ball so he hurried to get in a position to throw because he knew it would be open.
other examples of him truly making progressions are the deep outs to Keelan (ATL) and Berrios (TN)...those plays couldn't have been the first read; they were outside the timeframe to get the ball out quickly, unless they were designed take that long to develop.
If I'm not mistaken the play you are referring to was when Wilson was flushed out of the pocket and Moore was wide open downfield at the hashmark. Wilson's back was to Moore at that precise moment, so it was a missed opportunity.I must be watching different games because I have seen Moore wide open multiple times every game. I could have sworn it was Moore that was all alone in the middle of the field yesterday for an easy TD , Zach was so late on the read he led him 5 yards out of bounds. I remember him being all alone for first downs on a few of Zacks long interceptions too.
That's the play but Moore was uncovered prior to Zach getting flushed, and started running to the boundary when Zach did the same. Had plenty of time and space, think Zach was a little gun shy to throw there given the pick he threw to that location 3 throws earlier. He threw his second pass after the pick out of bounds there, third pass had a shot there and took a covered checkdown to Michael Carter that got blown up at the LOS.If I'm not mistaken the play you are referring to was when Wilson was flushed out of the pocket and Moore was wide open downfield at the hashmark. he can play outside but he hasn't found his game yet or better yet found his connection with Wilson during game day...Moore is a slot period and doesn’t appear he has the talent of a Tyreke Hill. So if this is the case, he can’t be that difference maker they taught he would be. Mims has that talent, speed and size to open it up for Moore and everyone else. Why can’t these idiots see this?
We’ll Moore has to show it to me because I seriously have my doubts. Crowder and Cole have shown that they play the outside. Although the slot is better for them but Moore has not. Not in my opinion anyway.he can play outside but he hasn't found his game yet or better yet found his connection with Wilson during game day...
Mims and Davis are outside guys but Cole, Moore can play outside just has to be scripted not stacked plays...
they stated as much that they had a reduced playbook and the plays that were utilized didn't involve him...Moore was used a ridiculously low amount of plays this week
the defender on the PI could have and should have intercepted - Moore had to slow down and DB caught up - but inexplicably didn't play the ball.
well...lol....Moore got bowled over by the DB so he really had no shot to catch it.but by the same token, Moore could have and should have made a play on the ball and had a TD, right?
he was the one who was there, and the DB was the one who had to catch up. Moore waited for the ball.
i am not covering for Zach...he is letting good opportunities go down the drain, but i refuse to give our receiving corpse an inch until they make something happen. Zach isn't the only who can be and should be called out for not making a play.
