actually seeing how little denver gave up (reportedly a 7th) for sanchez, i don't think they are out of the QB market. not sure elway is rolling the dice on sanchez as the starter.
not broken physically?? i would estimate if the rookie version of griffin raced the griffin of 2016 in a 40 yard dash, the rookie wins by about 5 to 7 yards..
besides, his 63.9 completion % was predicted on the "high school harry" read option & his ability to gain chunks on the ground.. he was throwing to wide open guys because he & alfred morris were gashing defenses running the ball..
LOLz the cherry on top of the sundae is even if he could still play that way he thinks it's beneath him.. you ask him, he's a drop back passer..
as far as washington "ruining him," the owner absolutely adored him but it was reported at great lengths his teammates & two separate coaching staffs had no use for the guy as QB, leader or person..
i live in maryland so i've watched that slow moving train wreck up close..
they brought in griffin & signed sanchez tell me a lot about elway's opinion of fitzpatrick..
we'll have to wait & see how it plays out.....

Do you think he will change his game, physically? So Shanahan/Shanahan ruined him? Gruden Ruined him? But Chan Gailey/Bowles have the ability to fix him?
I'm also not sure you understand on a daily basis his issues with the media, facebook posts, twitter, etc. You hear in NY the terrible times ones. Again, geno is immature. He may be 3 or 4 steps up on the maturity scale above RG3.
Also, Petty played the same offense, is bigger, and had better stats then RG3. Plus this will be RG3's third offense in the nfl.
Not sure how you teach a player from a "gimmick" offense in college, who was given a dumbed down NFl offense (blew out his knee) to stay in the pocket and run. RG3 is a rung below Petty in my mind. And I like Petty, but he is 2 years away.
I'd rather wait out Fitz, and if all goes wrong, draft a Paxton Lynch or Connor Cook. But RG3 is not the answer, and such a "Tebowish" type move
I agree. Not sure if Fitz can sustain the high level of play but he's accurate the others aren't so that is the reason why I prefer Fitz over all of them. Hopefully Petty can take over mid year.
Gailey is a qb guru. He is probably the best at tailoring an offense to fit the qb. I am sure any move we make has his blessing and that makes me sleep better at night

Everyone knows Petty is 2 years away because that is what the newspaper fools told us and a scout said it a year ago??? Means nothing.
He did make the playoffs with Kordell Stewart as his qb

RG3 scares me. I don't want him or Kap. I'm hoping we can get it done with Fitz, because I think the other options are just plain not good.
Maccs only mistake last year was forgetting to renegotiate Fitz immediately after the trade. Rookie mistake. When he wins game 1 offer him some extra cash, a2nd year, and a team portion 3rd.

I absolutley love what RGlll brings, but he scares the hell out of me. It'll be like watching Chad Pennington take the field. In an instant, our starter would be lost for the season. Thats how fragile he is.
Though, if healthy, he would excel in this system. He does have a huge chip on his shoulder and you would have to consider, sitting out a year, the kid is at full strength.
If you can sign Griffin for $8 mil and Fitz wants the same money a year, its a no brainer, you sign RG3.
