It is what I have been saying the key to this team now is big mac unless woody gets in the way. I have not said big mac is bad but I need to see more.
Maybe mo is worth keeping this year. If. If. If. The jets can win now like they seem to say
You can win now &REBUILD at the same time but it is very hard. You can lose everything by doing it. The cards are trying to do both with a 65/ 35 formula, they have young versions of many of their stars.but whenthey neec a vet they get one.

Not to mention the fact that as good as he is, the Jets really don't need him with Richardson and Wiliams on the team.
That 16 M will give the Jets a lot more flexibility moving forward.

Did the Pats get full value for Jones who has the same amount of sacks as Mo and has played 1 year less? Plus he wasn't playing with Snacks,Sheldon and Williams..
if someone wants to overpay wilkerson, getting him off the books at this point is almost a win.. my thoughts anyway..
If we lose Mo we will have lost our two best DL's mates this year. Richardson wants to get paid next & he is one Kid joy ride away from doing some big time. Williams looks good but who made him a star. If we lose our best pass rusher & our best middle guy in the D our LB's better be good & the two above better grow up & play as vets.
Fitz comes back & Mo leaves ....is that a win win?
There is something telling me this plan is off But Again I won't judge until I see the final roster.
Also I still feel something happened between the Jets & Mo. That does not seem right to me.

Gotta disagree with you here- Wilkerson is the best player on the defensive side of the ball. The only upside to trading him would be the cap space he would free up.
No doubt Richardson is good, but imo he's a disaster off the field. We don't know what we have in Williams yet, though it would be fairly safe to assume he has a very bright future.

It is funny how many jet fans criticized Sanchez for not having a Comp % better then 60% in this day & age......but some are ready to say we must have Fitz back with his 59% comp% How low we have gone.

Fitz at 59% is golden...
Not exactly sure what you mean, but to me a 60% completion rate has always been the gold standard. Anything equal to or above that and you have a good QB, at least in my book. I hadn't realized Fitz had gotten so close to reaching that goal, but that does go a long way toward explaining why he was so successful for us last season.

Something interesting to consider in this Kaep/Fitz situation is, are the 9'ers going to go into the season with Blaine Gabbert and Dylan Thompson as their QB's?
Keep in mind that the 9er's OC, was also the Bills OC when Fitz was there. Jets might go from one drama to the next

No idea. Fitz is a pretty likable guy.
If Fitz chooses SF then he deserves to play there. They have zero offensive talent.
Modkins didn't call plays, and worked mainly on the run game. (Which was leagues best) That being said, Chip Kelly is running this offense, and Modkins again working on rushing game. Pretty safe to say Fitz's loyalty probably lies more with Gailey
