team effort though totally
Reminds me of when the Patriots stole Randy Moss for like a 5th RD Pick, I wanted to strangle Al Davis!Brandon Marshall for A 5TH?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??.....AS LONG AS HEALTHY THAT TRADE ALONE GIVES MCG Executive of year..
Damn, I would have to agree with that. That had to of been ruff but oh so good after the second half started! But as far as the game goes, I'd go Marshall and Williams. Our secondary seemed to tighten up after Cro went down and Williams came in. Not saying it was all Williams but he had a lot to do with it.Actually I deserve an MVP vote, I was the only Jet fan in the middle of a Browns bar of 70 people in a small enclosed room, catching shit the whole game until we started to kick their ass ! Who would of thought 70 friggin Brown fans in Winston-salem, NC ?
Go Jets...Cyborg
That was like a Criss Angel magic trick. I didn't even see how it happened until I saw the slow motion replay. All I saw at live speed was Gipson intercept the ball, and the next thing I know Marshall has the ball and he's running the other way!Marshall was huge. Pass catching and stealing back the ball.
A lot of great choices, but I am going off the board for my game ball. How about the offensive line as a unit. Fitz had a clean pocket to all game long. I don't think he was even touched once all game. They opened running lanes for Ivory and Powell all afternoon - especially late in the game when the Browns, and everyone in the stadium knew we were going to run right at them. AND NO PENALTIES. No false starts, no holding calls. Clean game for the OL. Game balls for:
Brick
Carpenter
Mangold
Colon
Breno

He's like a master illusionist.![]()
Excellent point. Aside from the near disastrous mis-communication between Fitz and Mangold, it was pretty much a clean sheet. Funny how the same group of guys other than Carpenter, can play pretty much mistake free. If that's a reflection of coach's no tolerance for penalties and generally better discipline, I'll take it.
The protection part of it I agree, but questionable as far as penalties go. Impressive nonetheless.Could be the qb too. Yes, I went there and it could spark yet another geno vs fits debate but hope not.
I was stunned to not say F'in Willie Colon not even once yesterday. The penalty machine had no penlalties yesterday, at least none that I can recall.

Marshall not only did a great job catching the ball, but his blocking is excellent also. A huge addition for sure. Nice to see Pryor flying around making plays also.
