Yes, we are. And the Jets have something to play for, as opposed to the false notion of a moral victory for Buffalo.
Todd Bowles needs to paste this in every players locker this week, so they know exactly what they are up against.

Jim Kaat used to talk about this in the Yankees booth all the time when the season was winding down. He always used to say, if you jump on losing teams early they checkout psychologically, but if you give them the idea that they can win, then they'll play with a sense of purpose for all nine innings.

I believe we've found a true hidden gem in Enunwa. He is big, strong and very fast. Needs to develop his hands more but I think were on to something with him. Thompkins appears to be a true contributor as well. All we need is to get Devon Smith on point and we can have a true deadly WR core and not just Marshall and Decker carrying them as they've done all year long.

+1. The Jets rarely start early but if they did this game could be over early and actually could be stress free going into the 4th quarter. However, in reality us Jets fans know this will probably come down to the wire.
Flipping your thought over, I think Vegas is scared of how inconsistent Rex's teams are. They have seen him successfully rally the Jets in December.

Let them talk all they want. Can they back up the talk by doing their job on the field where it counts? Remains to be seen. Sure they want to sweep the series. We're doing what we need to do to win games. We don't have to play flawless. Just execute when it's needed the most. As long as the game is close we'll find a way to win. It'll help to get out front first but I like our chances.

Last year every one of the facets of the game was reversed 180 degrees. Fortunately Rex has screwed up the entire winning nucleus Marrone left him and Mac and Bowles have vastly improved every aspect of the Jets
