look at this as well as Marshall played this year in a whole he also was the goat in a couple of our losses...
yes we should of beaten the Patriots twice as I mentioned some where on a thread tonight...

I saw this team having potential for a decent season, as you know...
I also saw the chance of us beating ourselves when we put the ball in Fitzpatrick's hands and he starts forcing the issue which he did today in a key critical drive when we were in the red zone down 2 points...

Injuries also were a factor this season, so we need to get younger and faster on all 3 phases of this team... If that means parting way with long time Jets then so be it, but it is time to break up this roster and start building then trying to win now...

You may be right but, God, I can't stand watching a rebuild. Although I can't stand watching what happened today either.

I won't blame Fitz today. Everything about this game was just weird. Ivory, the d couldn't get off the field... No tv for me here today on my crappy CT cable so I had to listen on the radio so I can't say much but it just seemed wrong

You're a good guy, gmf, you too LGM, perhaps its time I get a cold drink and settle down. This game really pushed my buttons, big time, it started in the first quarter and I'm still pissed off, its a miracle I haven't had a stroke!

Anyway, I just need a little time to wind down, its a good time to step away.

Oh and sack, I'm sorry we had words earlier today in the game thread, that game put me in a bad mood and it just kept getting worse by the minute, but still, I'm sorry we had words cause you're a good guy too.

So are you. We're both passionate fans. I am sorry it got heated for both of us.

Trust me, I harbor no ill will. Big spots can bring out the emotions in all of us. At the end of the day, we both want the same thing - success for our beloved Gang Green. So as long as you harbor no ill will, I don't, either. And I'm sorry about getting heated.

The key is in front of the cameras.

Fans only see what he wants fans to see. Did he amp up the energy this week during practice? Did he tear into the team at halftime?

We probably will never know. And honestly, we don't need to know. There are certain things that are for public consumption, and others that are meant to be kept behind closed doors. Just because Rex blabbed to everyone with a microphone about the team's business doesn't mean Bowles has to.

I can tell you right now in front of the cameras he is down playing his emotions and that is what I respect about the man...

I have been told by good sources in the locker room during half time he gets into it with the players and most of the time he gets great reaction on the field from the players...

as for during practice I haven't been to one since last off season but then he was motivating players talking them up and getting the best out of them... I expect all season long he continued that because he is a creature of habit...

Just of note: from what I heard from Rex before the game, I don't think he was a big mouth this time and post game he said he has a lot of friends over here and he wishes them the best, just not at his expense. I still like Rex ... and nothing against Bowles but if rex had these players last season he'd of had a lot more then 4 wins

I actually respect a guy who will present that calm public image, not put too much on the team in front of the press, but is also very real with his team. I think too many fans assume the public persona is a 100% reflection on the man as a coach.

from the first snap we put ourselves out of this game and I felt it if they dont get back to what we do we won't be able to recover and we really didn't, yes we drew close but key moments we out thunk ourselves and well that is how the cookie crumbles...

don't get me wrong I am besides myself but I remember last off season where everyone was like eh they dont have chance and we had the start we had and everyone was like huh... then I think that was the key point of the season that certain injuries and roster moves that shook this team a bit... allowing certain players to do their own thing, like giving carte blanche to Fitzpatrick that drop of 4 of 5 was devastating, just one of those games would have us in right now...

Bowles and Maccagnan are two peas in a pod, it is a different atmosphere at Florham Park and even the media are more on board to report rather than to bash our team...

Nationally which I dont care about but this team in one season has gained respect because of those two individuals...

Todd Bowles isn't like Rex Ryan actually total opposite and fans will start to really love him come next off season when they realize he really is that Team Manager we wanted Rex to be, letting his coaches do their jobs and manage the game...

Bowles will continue to work with the players one on one motivating them to be the best they can be while his coaching staff will prepare them for games week to week...

Its all good, sack, I have no hard feelings at all, its not anything you said that set me off, it was the game, the game is what set me off. You know whats crazy, it wasn't even that shanked punt or one of the Bills first quarter TD's that drove me crazy, it was just a simple five yard run by Karlos Williams, before either of the TD's. Two Jets penetrated the LOS and had him stopped at the LOS, then suddenly he's breaking tackles and carrying guys for a five yard gain.

At that point I SAW RED, cause I was like, wait a minute, WhoTF wants this game more, us or them?!?! It was at that moment that I got a BAD FEELING about the way that game was going, and it only continued to get worse.

yes if Rex Ryan had this roster last season he probably would of had a 10 + season...

Rex is a good coach but he also gets too involved into his own ego as well... That is what costed him this season with Buffalo...

Last season, don't get it wrong but Idzik did just enough to sabotage Rex from having a winning season... And get this right it was Idzik that didn't want to renegotiate with the Revis camp and traded him, then had a chance to get him back and still ignored taking any calls to bring him back... Too bad Idzik didn't realize sabotaging Rex also killed his chance for a year 3...

At the end of the day, I respected how Rex approached the post game press conference instead of his normal rub it in your face statement he was very professional...

yup. it was the damn cheatahs ruined us again. took us 5 weeks to recover from losing to them the first time. Then we beat them and don't let anyone tell you different, that was our superbowl. not surprised at all over the total collapse today because we won the superbowl last week

Did you see Richardson too, on SNY postgame? he was about to cry , it seemed. Said he was sad that he knew his line probably wouldnt be together next year and he said those guys helped him through bad times. I don't think he's all bad

1. Drop passes will always hurt
2. Defensive game plan could of been better, but there were some blown assignments on setting the edge
3. Revis played the position and the game plan installed - the Jets were in a zone off man coverage preventing the deep ball
4. Yes we missed Bilal Powell and his overall contributions
5. Ivory came into this game roughly 60 - 70% healthy and was used sparingly - he was frequently getting treatment throughout the game
6. Instead of utilizing Ridley as that alternate option to spell Ivory they reversed roles which bit us badly
7. Weather conditions were a factor, but play calling was poor by itself
8. Yes play calling was pathetic especially in these elements - Gailey should of known better
9. Yes Rex wanted to make a mockery of his former team and did so
10. Shit happens, time to move on still an impressive turn around from last seasons 4 - 12 record

All agreed!

what I was told from some people that Ivory was NOT 100% entering this game...

and the way they were using him and visually seeing him being attended too on the sideline throughout the game proved there was something up with him...

nah I didn't want to watch anymore...

now with Mo's broken leg don't know how the Jets or Mo's camp will handle this...

but expect that the Jets will do whatever it takes to bring back Damon Harrison - base salary should be between $7 - 9 M annually not including bonuses nor incentives but should be very affordable...

the only person that could be out is the one that is crying lmao - and think he knows it too...

but then again the Jets could convert into a more nickel base/ 4 man front still giving them a 3-4 defense in passing downs but we will see soon enough...

Richardson has to grow up, I'm kinda tired of hearing his whining about how bad he has had it and how he is in need of support... Sorry I know sounds cruel, but that is me right now one cruel son of a bitch...

Yeah, That really sucks for Wilk.

The SNY guys were saying they believe plenty of money will get thrown at Harrison by other teams.

I like Richardson cause he clearly hates to lose. Some guys leave the field after a loss smiling or joking with guys from the team that just beat them. I couldn't smile after I just got my ass kicked and neither can Richardson.

I'm hopeful that we find a way to keep them all. unless of course they plan to play more games like today. Then they can all go

It's little plays like that that can set me off, too. I HATED the Decker OOB play, because it showed a lack of focus in a big spot. He's a good route runner. How do you run out of bounds there?

The true haters will be the ones who write the LOLJets and SOJ articles after this game. They're the ones looking for a reason to kick the Jets.

there really isn't anything to kick the Jets about we exceeded expectations from all those wannabe sports writers who had the Jets going anywhere from 3 - 13 to 6 - 10 this season...

all those fake ass fans that write articles oh well at least they can have something to do after our 10 - 6 season...

still think even with the loss, and no playoffs we are headed in the right the direction...

few key roster moves, contract adjustments, possible trades and draft selections we will bounce back next year and be a serious contender for the AFC East Division Title, well thats just me...
