We're all forgetting the real reason the Jets lost on Sunday. If you guys remember, when the Jets beat the Patriots, all you heard from Patriots fans was how they threw the game because the Steelers are a tougher opponent than the Jets. They wanted to get the Steelers into the playoffs, so they threw the game. They lost on purpose.

I think the Jets threw the game in Buffalo because they wanted to foil the Patriots' plan, and get the Steelers into the playoffs. The Jets threw this game to get Pittsburgh in.

That makes roughly as much sense as the Patriots fan argument did.

lol...brilliant!!!

I like Bowles, but for the LOVE OF GOD, can someone tell me why we didn't see more Ivory? WTF was that!??? This is inexcusable and shakes my confidence in him a bit.

Definitely a tremendous mistake, but I would also like to throw in REFUSING to double Sammy Watkins. If after 3 quarters you see Tyrod Taylor and Watkins playing catch like a casual day in the park, then you know it is time to double that WR. Revis was ineffective. Yet Todd Bowles in his very stubborn? ignorant? stupid? (take your pick) way refused to make an in game adjustment.

MJ, I've heard you off the boards, on the JI podcasts. I'm not buying your line. You're too smart for that.

You are what your record says you are.

I've been up and down about Bowles through the season, yes I have. Sometimes I think he is the right man for the job. Yet there are other times where he makes the DUMBEST and very INFURIATING decisions in games. Buffalo was a prime example of that.

The point is when you pick a HC, to get a guy that can go tit for tat with Bill Belichick any old day of the week. The fact is, based on the majority of midseason games and the Buffalo game, Todd Bowles is NOT that guy. DEFINITELY not that guy this season. He's a rookie HC.

Now say what you want about Rex, but Rex ALWAYS had the X's and O's down pat enough to go toe to toe with Bill Bellichick. He just never had the talent. I'd bet if Rex had this seasons team? The Jets would be getting ready for the playoffs right now. Bowles FAILED the Jets fan base. And, yes, I believe the Jets are NOT as good as their record indicated and I guess that means I do not believe in Bill Parcells once said.

Are you serious about Rex as a gameday coach?

My heavens, you really are off the reservation if you think that Rex was some master strategist. Then again, you also make it out like Rex did not have talented teams, which is just patently ridiculous.

This is borderline creepy, the love you have for Rex.

I think REX can pitch a mean game. However, he thinks he talented all over. His F*** UP personnel decisions have resounding consequences that dog us to this day. Todd Bowles was mentored by Arians, Doug WIlliams, started alongside Darrell Green. Rex started some games in DIII, alongside a refrigerator and 2 canned hams. He did get the Buddy Ryan gene.
