One goood thing about the Macagnan regime is that no one is allowed to leak out any information whatsoever. The media has no idea whats going on at florham. Given the Wilkerson deal and Fitz deal in that they had stated right before it actually materialized that it would never happen.
Meyers is looking to write something bigger in the event Bowles does indeed get fired.
If Bowles gets pumbled by Buffalo this Sunday, Woody will make his choice known very fast Sunday evening.

For the life of me I can not think of one positive thing TB did as a HC this year? Benching Mo and Rich was a joke because it seems that their bad behavior was allowed with out recourse. Frankly, in all three phases of the game this team stunk and regressed so frankly if he stays, I really will consider passing on the team, I cannot take another year of that stiff on the sidelines while the team constantly under performs and being non-competitive.
Thats the thing my dude, We havent done that since Rich Kotite on firing some one after their second year. We've never done that in Woody's tenure here as well.
Just look at the previous three HC Woody hired. They were all given time.

We're not even close to the Cleveland Browns in that department. Firing Bowles would be the same as the firing of John Idzik. Theres a legit ineptitude that is displayed when adversity hits. The team is not disciplined. The locker room is a mess. The team gave up on him. He never holds players accountable. Fitz should have never played a down ever again after he ripped the organization. I coulndt give a "F" if he gives the team the best chance to win. He just ridiculed the owner after Woody gave him $12 mil guaranteed?!!!
I'am sorry, Bowles continues to surprise me with the level of stupidity on how to coach the team. He shows no guts at all during games. Kicking a FG down by 41 points?!! AND SOME OF YOU WANT TO STRIP THE TEAM AND HAVE THIS GUY LEAD YOUNG KIDS? It'll be the most timid team in all of sports. GONAD'LESS!!
Like i said in an earlier post, no one..Nope not even the great Gary Meyers knows what Woody Johnsons plans are. IMHO, Todd Haley will be Macs guy when its all said and done.
I don't necessarily think he will turn into that. And I have pointed out where several of his actions have troubled me. But I also think he is still a question mark, and we do not know for certain what he could become.
Truth is, though Giants fans may claim differently in hindsight, most who were around for Parcells' early years wanted him fired. And he had done little in his first couple seasons to have won over the fans. Same with Belichick in his first three seasons in Cleveland.
& i've pointed out if he miraculously becomes even a competent HC after he finally gets canned here, well how wonderful for him & that organization.....
i think we both know were the other stands as far as what's his face is concerned..

The odd part is, he has shown some competency. Last year, the team was 10-6. Now, you can say none of the credit goes to him, but to me, that's not fair. If he gets the blame for this disastrous season, he gets the credit for exceeding expectations last year. Can't have your cake and eat it, too.
That's what makes this season so perplexing. He has been awful in many regards, from his mishandling of the QB situation to his consistently being out-schemed starting second halves to his team being flat on a frequent basis. Yes, the team took a big step back, but so did he.
So which is the real "Whatshisface"? I honestly don't know with the certainty that some others do.
Parcells!!!! Giants fans wanted Tom and Eli gone the year they won the super bowl, then again the year they won the second super bowl.

whatever i think of the guy, he was 10-6 last season.. but let's not forget, he had plenty of WTF moments.. they seem much more glaring this season because of all of the losing..
what's really gotten under my skin lately is him absolutely insisting lack of "effort" has not been an issue during this historically awful run..
it's always "blown assignments.."
LOLz as if his team never knowing what the hell they are doing is somehow a less damning reflection of his coaching??
You want to lose a locker room...a coach saying that shit is done. He needs to speak in code and protect his guys. He can't say Revis is a washed up piece of shit.

he can blow as much smoke as he wants, his "guys" don't give a shit about him.. i would think that much was completely obvious when they couldn't be bothered playing hard hours after he was released for the hospital..

I agree, TB overachieved in 2015 and had a poor year in 2016. HCs are fired way to quick in today's NFL. I even think Rex got a raw deal in Buffalo, though his mouth may have hurt him.
What we need next year is a better QB play, and improvement in the defensive backfield among others.

I never thought TB was good at his job and I do not see any improvement this year. He coached while Fitz/Decker/Marshall/Gailey worked a one year wonder and you want to give him all the credit but excuse his god awful coaching this year due to 53 terrible football players? Not buying it. You would cut 3/4 of the team to see if a coach is any good? I don't think so. He just isn't very good and the entire league knows it. The players quit playing for him and there is no going back.

If you are going to be critical of his performance this year (deserved) than you give him credit for last year. It's not fair to judge him on 1 bad year. BTW, no HC would have won this years team. We need a QB!
