Don't forget that since Glennon has come to this league he's played for nothing but crap teams that are always in garbage time. A lot of his tds have come when his team is already down.

Last year Geno was rushed into a starting role when he shouldn't have been. He should have been redshirted but due to injuries he was unable to sit. Coming out of college he never played under center. In addition, up until the addition of harvin, he has had shit a shit supporting class.

If nothing is out there, he deserves another chance to show improvement. Gailey will tailor a system around his skill set.

Please no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's a choice between Glennon and Smith, No brainer, ......Glennon

One thing is gauranteed, the qb position will be addressed, geno and simms is unacceptable. The issue is we don't know who comes in unless we know what style offense will be our base. If we do go spread for geno, then we need someone who has the skills to work within that system. I think Bowles knows how ny works, and how idzik looked bad after two seasons, and has some urgency to get a successful qb,and quick. He also just saw what happened in Arizona when you have no qb.

Because as of now he is all we have nd even if it is small he still has a chance to be a good QB. A guy who is in the league 8-10 years has no upside. They are what they are and have no place to go but down. As Parcells famously said "if you arent getting better, you are getting worse"

Believe it or not Geno improved a fair amount from year one to year two. This shouldnt be over looked. He improved even more after his benching. I'm saying there is still a chance here.

Do you honestly want a rookie QB starting week one? After what we have seen?

That is the point though a veteran QB who knows how to play with a small upside is better for the team hence moore. Right now he is only 30 yrs old give him a cheap 2yr contract and you have a hold the fort veteran while we find our franchise QB. Even if geno beats him out you could do a lot worse for a back-up see Vick.

1. Bring in a experienced guy like Moore or the equivalent

2. Draft a rookie. If by some miracle Mariota falls to 6, take him..otherwise a Petty or Grayson in a later round

3. Let the four QBS compete in OTAs, TC and the first two PS games

4. When G-No finishes an obvious 4th in that competition, cut him and go with the Vet, the rook and Simms in 2015

Good plan but geno does have talent and I don't like him either but gailey was able to make kordell stewart a playoff qb, so I would not write off geno that fast. If they draft a qb Simms may be the odd man out.

I prefer keeping Geno to Glennon. Glennon doesn't impress me. Someone that does intrigue me as a stop gap is Fitzpatrick. I wonder if hes available.

Fitzpatrick had some success with Gailey. To me Glennon is as big a question mark as Geno.

Mike Glennon - QB - Buccaneers
ESPN Browns reporter Jeremy Fowler reports the team has "at least sniffed around on" Bucs QB Mike Glennon.
Fowler's report comes via two league sources. Fowler adds that the Browns haven't made any formal offers for the 2013 third-rounder. The Browns are hosting Josh McCown for a visit on Tuesday, and getting their post-Brian Hoyer ducks in a row. The team clearly has zero faith in Johnny Manziel.
