ROUND 1

01. BUCS - Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
Initially I had Mariota here and Winston sliding, but I'm not obtuse, I'm well aware of the degree to which Winston helped himself at the combines and most likely secured his position as the #1 Pick.

02. TITANS - Dante Fowler, DE/OLB, Florida
Titans are telling anyone who will listen that they like Mettenberger, and I believe them, so they pass on Winston and snatch the elite edge rusher. I feel even more strongly about this now that Dick LeBeau has taken the DC Job in Tennessee.

03. JAGUARS - Leonard Williams, DE, USC
Leonard can be a dominant BIG DE at the next level. Reminds me of Mario Williams.

04. RAIDERS - Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
White and Cooper were neck & neck before the combines and I had Cooper here to the Raiders with Kevin White to the Jets, but when White ran a 4.35 at 6' 3"-215 that ended the debate for me. Its White, then Cooper.

05. REDSKINS - Danny Shelton, NT, Washington
Skins need an upgrade at NT and Shelton is an absolute monster. NFL Comparison: Vince Wilfork.

06. JETS - Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama
Kevin White pushes Cooper to the Jets and Jet fans should be thrilled. Cooper was an absolute force at Alabama, routinely blowing games wide open, and I see no reason why he won't do likewise in the NFL. The media and some fans would kill the Jets for passing on Winston, but IMO its the smart play. Winston is not an elite QB prospect in my view.

07. BEARS - Shane Ray, DE/OLB, Missouri
Ray and Gregory is a close call, but Ray has a little more meat on his bones and he's the safer pick in my view. Like Gregory his ideal fit is 3-4 Rush OLB, but you can scheme the OLB to get after the QB in the 4-3 as well (see Von Miller), and he can play some Rush End in the 4-3 too, though I would keep him at OLB regardless of the scheme.

08. FACLONS - Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, Nebraska
We're still not sure if Atlanta will be playing a base 4-3 or 3-4, but everything I said about Ray applies to Gregory as well, only he needs to add more bulk.

09. GIANTS - Andrus Peat, OT, West Stanford
The Giants need to improve their pass protection for Eli who is strictly a pocket passer with limited mobility. Peat is a plug & play left-tackle.

10. RAMS - Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
Barring a trade I see only two possible landing spots for 'the other quarterback' after Tampa; - the Jets or Rams. If the Jets take a pass he slides to #10.

11. VIKINGS - DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville
I'm sure Bridgewater would be thrilled if the Vikings can reunite him with his Go-to-Guy at Louisville.

12. BROWNS - Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami
Flowers has the size and strength to dominate on the right side opposite Joe Thomas on the left side.

13. SAINTS - Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson
Beasley showed up at the combines at a solid 246, bigger than anyone anticipated. If he tested well in drills at that size, he solidified himself as one of the elite edge rushers in this draft.

14. DOLPHINS - Brandon Scherff, T/G, Iowa
Scherff has all-pro potential if you move him inside to guard, where Miami needs an upgrade.

15. 49ERS - Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State
Niners have witnessed Seattle's formula for success up close and personal, they know the value of cover corners with size.

16. TEXANS - Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma
DGB looks an awful lot like a young Andre Johnson. Physically you can make a strong case that he is the best WR in this draft. On the other hand there are red flags out the wazoo. He's a lot like Josh Gordon, the sky is the limit, but he can just as easily be out of the league in a few years if he continues down the same path of weed and thuggery. Boom or Bust.

17. CHARGERS - Jordan Phillips, NT, Oklahoma
Phillips is a little underrated because he's a rSoph with limited tape, but this kid is massive and strong, tailor made to anchor the nose in SD's 3-4.

18. CHIEFS - La'el Collins, T/G, LSU
I'd like to get them a WR here, I really would, I understand the level of desperation, I understand that a WR did not catch a single TD pass for them in 2014, but any WR here would be a reach in my view and thats how you make colossal mistakes in the draft. Collins would give them an immediate and massive upgrade at RT or OG, whichever they prefer.

19. BROWNS - Malcom Brown, DL, Texas
Ditto KC. I know the need for a WR is great, but they just missed on the last of the top three WR's (Parker) at #12 and Brown offers too much value at another position of need to pass on here.

20. EAGLES - Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Like DGB, another boom or bust prospect. Based on talent alone Peters grades off the charts. One NFC scout called him the best cover-corner prospect he's graded in fourteen years, and he has the size to match the skill. On the other hand he's displayed a real inability to respect authority and was kicked off his team in 2014 for arguing with his coaches. If he learned his lesson, keeps his mouth shut, does as he's told and plays ball, the Eagles will hit a home-run with this pick.

21. BENGALS - Arik Armstead, DE, Oregon
Enormous DE with a very high ceiling. Some people have Armstead going a lot higher than this, and they might be right.

22. STEELERS - Alvin Dupree, OLB, Kentucky
Pitt needs to rebuild its secondary, but they also need an elite edge rusher and Dupree has the tools to be a consistent double-digit sack artist.

23. LIONS - Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
Gurley was looking like another Adrian Peterson before he got hurt, an amazing combination of size, strength, speed and agility. That said, ACL's are not what they used to be. Nowadays you fix them up and the player is like new. This kid could rush for 2,000 Yards at the next level, he's that good.

24. CARDINALS - Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
Cromartie is a pending free agent. Collins is a big/fast corner who would compliment Patrick Peterson. With strong young safeties as well, this could give them a terrific secondary from top to bottom.

25. PANTHERS - D.J. Humphries, OT, Florida
LT Byron Bell is a pending free agent and they need an upgrade at RT too. Clemmings is a terrific RT and a strong possibility here, particularly if they re-sign Bell, but Humphries is the better LT prospect in my view so I'm giving him the nod.

26. RAVENS - Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
Its been a long time since we've had two RB's drafted in the first round, but these two are special and I fully anticipate both coming off the board on day one.

27. COWBOYS - Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State
Dallas needs to upgrade the talent on their D-line and they would be fortunate if a player of Goldman's caliber is still on the board for them here.

28. BRONCOS - Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan
Demaryius and Julius Thomas are pending free agents. It sounds like D.T. will be tagged, which would make J.T. one of this years most coveted FA's. Funchess is a similar big, athletic TE/WR hybrid.

29. COLTS - Landon Collins, S, Alabama
Clemmings makes sense here, but I think Collins offers similar value at a position of greater need.

30. PACKERS - Carl Davis, NT, Iowa
Raji's future is uncertain and he's a pending free agent as well. Davis is a big, strong man who can anchor the all-important nose in the Packers 3-4.

31. SEAHAWKS - Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
Strong ran a surprising 4.44 at the combines and is now a prime candidate to move up the board, but if he's there at 31 its a steal for Seattle.

32. PATRIOTS - Breshad Perriman, WR, Central Florida
Perriman is a terrific combination of size and speed, and vastly underrated. If you just want speed without the size, Devin Smith is another guy who is underrated, a pure homerun hitter (27 YPC) in the mold of DeSean Jackson. I like Perriman a little more as an outside receiver, but you can't go wrong either way.

ROUND 2

33. TITANS - Devin Smith, WR, Ohio State
34. BUCS - T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh
35. RAIDERS - P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State
36. JAGUARS - Shaq Thompson, OLB, Washington
37. JETS - Eli Harold, OLB, Virginia
Explosive edge rusher with ideal size (6' 4"/250) for the 3-4, though Harold falling here might be a bit optimistic.

Winston going 10 -- fans would probably kill Mac for passing on him.

Read somewhere that Mac and Bowles are inclined to think that Gailey can make Geno a serviceable, winning QB. So, a QBs best friend like White would make sense.

This was a good try..but with all due respect...whether Jets passing or not there is no way Winston falls to 10..some team will trade with someone and get him at very least top 5

Wow! Winston dropping like a rock! Mac better do what he thinks is right, and not worry about the fans.

barring no trades 100 percent unlikely it makes sense, and i wouldn't mind if they passed on winston esp if bradford becomes available if they draft winston.

I would rather have bradford over winston

Any GM who's simply trying to appease the fans shouldn't be doing the job in the first place. Trust your scouting department. It's why they have jobs. If you don't love Mariota or Winston, don't take them. Who cares what Mehta, Cimini, Myers, or any of those other know-it-all's think or say.

My God, my wife could do a better Mock Draft than this ! No way in Hell does Gregory (best pass rusher) fall to the Falcons @ #8 , and Jameis Winston falling to the Rams @ #10 is a joke ! Terrible Mock Draft.

It's not that unbelievable. Gregory is undersized a bit. As for Winston, I don't think he'll fall that low but you never know.

Elias, The Jets won't sniff either Winston or Gregory in the draft @ #6 . Winston will go #1 and if Gregory is sitting there @ 6, he might become a Jet.

The thing about expressing certainty on the internet is that it almost always comes back to bite you.

Here's a few guys that disagree with you. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/mock-drafts

One has Gregory at 8 to the Falcons. One has Winston at 10 to the Rams. One even has (?!) Mariota at 18 to the Chiefs. Not saying any of these guys is any smarter than you or me, but there's room for differing opinions out there and that doesn't make them stupid or even wrong.
