Last year is already starting to look like a fluke, the proverbial career year, but Fitz is making 12 million dollars and the same veterans who lobbied for the front office to resign him (Marshall, Decker, Mangold et al.) might be unhappy if they believe management pulled the plug too soon, they might view it as a sign of surrender, however ridiculous that may be, but I suspect Fitz is going to get a long leash.
