There was a QB in this draft, unknown, just a generic QB, who played big-time D1A college football, completed 71% of his passes in 2017, a higher percentage than any other D1A QB being considered in RD's 1 & 2, while simultaneously throwing more downfield passes than any other QB being seriously considered in D1A, and that his overall numbers were astounding; 4,627 Yards Passing in a college season, not a 17 Game NFL season, with 43 TD Passes compared to only 6 INT's. I repeat, astounding numbers across the board.
Then if I told you he essentially duplicated those numbers in 2016, slightly less, but only slight, thus proving that 2017 was not a fluke.
If you had no idea who that "Generic QB" was, you would probably say he sounds like a FQB waiting to happen, or someone we should at least seriously consider.
