My seats were four rows from the very top.Nah
Mine for 10 years were the portable metal bleachers . Would have been kind of hard to dismantle and bring home

He was good enough to win a SB.
My seats were four rows from the very top.
So in the very early 70s 71-72I used to throw cracker jacks at you from 5 rows back
Tony so you were the one.I used to throw cracker jacks at you from 5 rows back
I thought it was impossible. I learned something today. lolSo in the very early 70s 71-72
The chant was “Let’s Go Jets” repeated
Also” Defense “on the other side of the ball
So if you research the J.E.T.S chant
They say ;
It started with a couple off guys upped deck opposite end chanting back and forth.
This is left out :
That’s not how it started :
The First few games at home vs the Colts . They had a group in the closed end upper deck to my right. I guy would stand up and make each letter as his group cahanted , C..O.L.T.S
This intern actually started in response to them our own the Jets chant
Before we started our own upper deck battles .
Anyone remember??
yea that’s the “conventional story “I thought it was impossible. I learned something today. lol
Seriously, I had never heard this before, Bigmoe. Always thought it started at Shea with the two guys on opposite sides of the field. Thanks very much for that awesome bit of Jet history.

You were not the guy that slid down the rail at the end of every game? I thought he was going to go over the edge a few times. LOl. This guy was right behind us sitting with ugly Pete, I called Ugly Pete a few years ago....He had just moved so I missed him. As he said he had a face that could stop a clock. Glad he was behind us.I used to throw cracker jacks at you from 5 rows back
It will be simpler for Ch to chantI want to hear a new one....like W---I----N win win win
And pretty soon I’ll be in diapers again. Shoot me now! Shoot me now!n
yea that’s the “conventional story “
But I lived it and remember like yesterday
No comment @cheaterhater
You wer running around in diapers then
That’s when they were in our division :
Before the realignment
AFC East (1970–2001)
and new rivals from the NFL after our one and only ( SB win )
So we used to get lots of colt fans coming to Shea
No my Dad said let’s go
not that I noticedNo my Dad said let’s go
Funny that story
Did you see the guy how he spelled out JETS with his body doing each letter ?
Taken from the COLTS chant and that’s exactly how I said it started .
They stole it from the colts
I didn’t watch the beginning did he give credit to the colts fans ?
No, But I fell backwards over the wall a couple of timesYou were not the guy that slid down the rail at the end of every game? I thought he was going to go over the edge a few times. LOl.
