Jace Amaro calls out Rex Ryan and the former regime/Rex responds

I see nothing trolling at all. I see someone who has a difference of opinion and doesn't mind a debate. I read where he said Amaro could be good but he don't think he will be elite, which at this point Amaro has alot to prove so I can understand why he said it.

Maybe we all have different definitions on trolling we can discuss in the mood lounge.

I see a guy who is here solely for the purpose of lauding everything Pats and bashing everything Jets. To me, he is passive-aggressively trolling, trying to be disruptive.

How many threads does he contribute to where his contribution is more than just defending the Pats and attacking the Jets? It's not like he adds any value here.

And his motives should be questioned, based on his actions.

If you want a guy like him to stay, that's fine. But it does open Pandora's box.

Gronk is Gronk cos he has Brady..end of story..minimal speed..great hands big target...very tough

Gronk is a lumberer in pads...once he gets going tough to stop..even without ball running patterns..but he is not fast from a TE standpoint..I dont care about 40's its about game speed.....

Gronk is a very good TE. He is neither bad because he's a Pat nor a deity because he's a Pat.

Rex responds.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/04/14/rex-ryan-responds-to-jace-amaro-rex-ryan-style/

Let's just remember, when he was a Jet, he was an arrogant blowhard loudmouth, especially in Florio's eyes. Now he's "planning to stomp on anyone who gets in his way," and a guy who "not only can lead a team to great places but also can make the NFL a lot more fun to follow."

What's changed? His address.

This is how I feel about Rex and the Bills:

Rex Ryan responds to Jace Amaro, Rex Ryan style

For the final two years of his tenure with the Jets, coach Rex Ryan didn’t allow himself to be himself. Now in Buffalo with a clean slate, Rex is Rex again.

The latest example comes from an interview with Jenny Vrentas of TheMMQB.com, where Rex responds to recent comments from Jets tight end Jace Amaro about the final year of the Ryan regime.

Said Amaro: “Guys just weren’t accountable last year as much as they could be. I think that’s the biggest thing, he’s making sure everyone’s gonna be 100 percent in or he’s not going to be on the team.”

Said Rex of Amaro: “He’s full of sh-t, and I’ll remind him of that when we play him. Look, we weren’t perfect, and I never said we were going to be perfect. But that’s a f–king b.s. comment. But, hey, he’s happy that he’s got a different coach in place. W e’ll see how happy he is when I play against him.”

Ryan also confirmed that, once the Jets fired G.M. Mike Tannenbaum and hired John Idzik, Ryan knew the bell eventually would be tolling for him.

“They were trying to pull away from me,” Ryan said. “Like it was my fault, somehow, that people identified the Jets with me, and that was a bad thing and not a good thing. I was just being who I was. From that point on I knew I wasn’t going to be long for that job.”

The Jets dispute Ryan’s belief, but it was obvious to anyone paying attention that Rex was walking on eggshells for the last two years. He’s now planning to stomp on anyone who gets in his way, and that’s the Rex Ryan that not only can lead a team to great places but also can make the NFL a lot more fun to follow.

So glad the ignorant foul-mouthed moron is wrecking another franchise, not the Jets

Why would people analogize the circus atmosphere of the Jets with a guy who wore a wig and stuffed his shirt for a press conference? That's ridiculous!

Rex being Rex again, I kind of like it compared to "Rex lite" which we saw for the last 2 years. This is going to be a very fun season in the AFCE, that's for sure!

I could see the Bills having a resurgence early, like the Jets did. The best thing for the Jets was Rex following Mangini, where you went from a hardass to a players' coach. It was like the shackles had been taken off.

But in time, guys took advantage of his players' attitude. I expect the same to happen in Buffalo, maybe even a little earlier, as his reputation precedes him. A year or two is their window with him.

Old Rex is back. Fun when the team is winning but if he starts losing, it gets old quick. I hate to see his relationship with the team/fan base sour but it sure is heading that way.

Ill advised remark by Amaro and totally unnecessary.

What good can come of it, other than putting a bigger bullseye on the Jets for Buffalo?

Ironically this dope just did the same thing people criticized Rex for, provided added motivation for the opposition.

You think the Bills players won't be jacked up to defend their new coach? If not, think again.

I want players motivated to do their jobs. Let's the bills players be motivated by words and have the words on their mind as they try to execute. I want my players focused 100 percent on their assignments.

All these jabs are moot when they're on the field. Everything happens so fast that if they think of this spat for a second, they are beat for a 60 yard TD....remenber, these guys, even TEs, cover 40 yards in 4.something seconds...if your mind is someplace else even 1 second, your guy is already 10-15 yards past you.

Players do t really have time during a game to think of this crap...bur I hope the bills do. If they do, they're as dumb as their coach.
