I heard Pats are going to Zoo & get a Chimp to QB. Just goes to show that Brady isnt the great QB everyone thinks he is. All the back ups in past to present plays just as good as Brady. Its the system & passing to spots on WR's route running thats so important.
I just don't get this at all. A lot of knee jerk reactions to Garapollo and Brissett. The sample size is so unbelievably noncomparable, it's not even close. Brady's stats and accomplishments far, far outweigh anything either of these two have done. The system is successful, no doubt. And yes, it's helped Brady. But to say that Brady isn't one of the best QB's ever...
I'm sensing some serious Jet fan bias.
So Edelman throws for 400 yds next week?

Brady's stats have been great. But so has everyone who has been forced to pinch hit for him.
And I don't know if it's bias, because saying it's not Brady means it IS Belichick, which is worse for Jets fans to admit.

I'm just disagreeing with the opinion that Brady is "JAG". That belief has been uttered here by a handful of posters, and it's just incredibly ridiculous to me. Average QB's don't put up #'s like that. Brady has been a huge part of their success. You're taking a giant leap in saying Garapollo and/or Brissett would've done the exact same thing based on the system they're in. I need to see a young QB play in more than one or two games to be convinced that they're legitimate.
a much better example (IMO) of brady being an all world "system QB" was matt cassel going 11-5 in 2008.....I just don't get this at all. A lot of knee jerk reactions to Garapollo and Brissett. I have no problem admitting that the team I despise more than any other is damn good at what they do. I cannot stand that team, that coach, those players. And despite the cheating and corruption surrounding the franchise, I will give credit to BB for being a great football mind, who can scheme like no other. He takes nobody's and turns them into productive players. So to this end, I'm in agreement (even with Hyatt!).

all valid points..I agree with you that Brady is a great qb but I think its the management that has led to the succes that this team has had.
No other team builds around the core strengths of their quarterback like the Pats do. The entire team is built for the quick two steps throw. They have small shifty wide receivers. Brady is slow as hell but he is not asked to hold on to the ball for long or do anything he is not capable of. Most teams add players based on skill alone and then those players never fit the scheme of the team (Suh for example in Miami), Pats don't care about the overall talent, they just care if that person fits the team. Belishit knows how to build a team like no other.

you left out brady, belichick & kraft are pathological cheaters/liars.. that helps plenty as well.....
you would think so, right??that's a given!!
