Jets 24- Cards 17

As of today I see the jets winning this week. The Cards are still on the carpet in my book but if I am wrong then watch out.

I think the jets will do a good job against a wonderful young back in Johnson & with both guards out for the Cards(at least one for sure) this may really hurt their inside running game & put pressure in on Palmer up the middle.

The Cardinals D is playing much better & I see this continuing as the season goes on. They have a good edge rush now which has opened up the middle rush. The Jets must give Fitz sometime to throw if they do you can pass against them (at this time) I see this window closing as the Cards are growing in their Def backfield. If the Cards can run & keep Palmer up....well....all bets are off.

For those of you that have seen Andre the Giant wrestle once he got off the carpet all hell broke loose, It is up to the Jets to keep this loaded team on the carpet.

So why have the Cardinals sucked this year

1) The owner is too good in my book. The players are playing like it is a country club. don't think it guys play it.

2) BA & the OC play calling. Lets throw some short passes & lets run the ball

3) They need to play mean but not dirty

4) Palmer needs to step up his game

The Cards are a great team on paper....maybe the best Cardinal team I have ever seen (on paper). But the game is played on grass

I personally think the Cards figured out all of their issues last Thursday and really laid it on the Niners. I think they are back to being one of the premier teams in this league.

I also think that the Jets are rapidly proving that they are simply NOT as good as everyone thought they were. Certainly not with this CS. I think this team will have a hard time beating teams like the Ravens and Rams.

Honestly, I don't see this team winning another game until week 8 when they face the Brownies. They ARE good enough to beat a winless team, other than that all bets are off.

But honestly I am shocked by your optimism? What in the world have you seen to give you any sort of confidence in this team? Todd Bowles call for a punt on 4th and 2 down two scores????

The Cards may have & I hope so for the year if not for this game......As a fan of both teams I want it but I don't lol

It is called confidence & I think the cards need two more weeks of wins or a blowout this week to get it back.

TB knows this team & he really can pick apart a team. The Players in AZ respected him & played hard for him.....I have not seen here yet but it could be coming.

The more I see of this new NFL the more I see that desire after talent is the key to victory. This year I don't see it from both of my teams. Billy B keeps it going in NE the great ones do.

Sorry to disagree scotch but I can't see it. In fact and yes it's true, I don't want to see it either I will admit. Jets lose again, 27-14 and F-ints-Patrick throws another 3 ints atleast against that excellent secondary.

All I care about is my Cardinals FF players going off vs Jets at this point. DJ, John Brown and Palmer.

Gentlemen, Ladies (and everyone else):

When talent and hard work are in short order, what one needs pure unadulterated grade A Luck. Since the QB variety is unavailable, what is needed is the ball to bounce the right way on fumbles, passes tipped to defensive players, etc. If the Jets get 8 or 9 turnovers, it will improve their chances of winning.

I live in Scottsdale and while I think the cards are not as good as lat year they are better than the jets.

Well I was wrong but the Jets had the cards in a funk early & let them off the ropes. They have "it" back again.
