I can appreciate where the Jets are right now. There aren't any blowout games lost. We are competitive every week especially in the second half. Now I will respect the fans opinion who invest their hard earned money on tickets, PSL's, parking, gas and tolls, hotels and airfare (for the traveling Jets fans), jerseys or any type of memorandum, not to mention tailgates, food and beverages. They are entitled to voice their frustrations. In fact, frustrations have been a part of the Jets fans since the seventies. All of that and we're still participating. Now I am a retired Jets season ticket holder, no longer residing in the tri-state, reduced to watching on a screen at home at least (until they travel to Atlanta. Didn't like last years game got moved to London. They play here in Atlanta every eight years.) And I have matured from yelling at my TV (oh that took much time to overcome!) Gone are the spreads of good food, drink and company. I just watch privately now. My wife even leaves me alone. I'm so quiet watching games now she can't tell who's winning from my reaction. So I can respect any Jets fans opinion, without agreeing simply for not knowing what they have endured over the years. My experiences have taught me not to overreact, get too high or too low about the outcome, and enjoy the ride. I'm glad that at least the fans aren't calling for Saleh or J Douglas jobs. That has been a long time coming.
