I saw his snap chat post. He said something like:

"where the hoes at. Fuck this game."

this is before the game began. This guy is a true piece of shit.

Richardson is doing this stuff on purpose to make sure JETS get very little in trade for him & his manager already got teams waiting for a cheap steal from JETS. I would franchise Richardson next year & play him very little & when he plays poorly or makes no effort in games I would point that out to media with film tape of his poor play in games. This hurts Richardsons value pointing this out all season & make big deal of Richardsons poor play & bad action not listening to coaching. Doing this to Richardson sends a message to ALL Jets Players that this will not be tolerated! Not playing hard-acting like an idiot on & off field to hurt Jets trade value because you know Jets are not signing you & you will play next season on bench most of games & every mistake & lack of effort will be pointed out to media for you to answer questions & get bashed by the media. Jets cant allow Richardson to get away with this or other Jets players will use this exact Richardson formula to hurt Jets trade value again. Make example of Richardson by keeping him another year.

Well I would be willing to package him with our #1 pick to trade up if there is a guy we absolutely want... or take a 5th or 6th rd pick for him...

Glad he has shown his true colors before any insane decision to resign him. Had he played up to his potential, his re-signing would have been a difficult decision. This makes MMs decision an easy one, and one that won't be another crippling albatross of a contract for a ineffective or unavailable player.

Has he so diminished his value at this point that a third for him is unrealistic?

This is so sad, and here's one of the main problems with the Jets, it's like they have a curse over the franchise. They are always screwing up their draft picks. For whatever reason!!! They never seem to get those game changing franchise HOF quality kind of players and even when they do, something goes wrong with them. Richardson and Wilkerson could be these kind of players, and I think we all can agree with that, but their attitudes are killing it for them.

Look at other drafts picks the Jets have picked, Nick Mangold, DaBrick, Shaun Ellis, Chad Pennington, Keyshaun Johnson, Darrell Revis etc-etc... These are quality HOF game changing players but did they ever play to they top ability to be that game-changing HOF player. IMO Revis has but fell off drastically over the past year or two. Everyone else hasn't because of injury, attitude, or whatever. Makes me wonder if these players were drafted by someone else, would they be that player to their full potential?

Same with Richardson and Wilkerson? Is it because they were drafted to the Jets that they aren't living up to their full potential? Or is this who they are and would be that way with any team? Teams like the Pats, Giants, Cowboys and Steelers just seem to breed quality players. It just never seems to fail with them. Teams like the Jets and Browns players seem to go the other way or just never seem to live up to their full potential. Game changing, HOF type of player.

Legally speaking, I'm not really sure how Joe had the right to bargain away MY soul before I was ever even born. But as a practical matter, that's clearly what happened.

I just wonder if we will EVER find the player who plays well, is a leader, and can be the guy who we look at the Jets and say "they're HIS team." Until then, we will be rudderless and even with good coaching, there will be an enthusiasm and leadership problem.

One thing is for sure though, discipline is too important in this game to let shit like this go. Normally, I don't care about these types of things. But enough is enough with this guy already. Take your sacks and your bullshit somewhere else. You don't make our defense good anyway, so who gives a flying fuck anymore?

Maccagnan would be smart to get a late round pick this year and a conditional pick in 2018...

In a way the Jets will be sticking it to him... He can go out and flounder we will still get compensation but he will hurt his own stock for a new contract... But if he realizes he needs to step his game up we end up getting compensated for his play as well...

I know it isn't the sexiest of moves but this way the team that does take him at worst will surrender this year's 6th and next year a 4th for taking a chance on him... If he has a breakout season which we all believe he will because it will be his contract year, we could see at best a 2nd round... Who knows could be a conditional 4th with parameters that we can see a 1st on strong play by him... We all agree he has the talent, just a shame is such a little bitch...

Oh I wouldn't go that far to say this. Quality players?
1-Pats had a murderer on thier team , don't think the Jets did
2- Giants had Plex and his gun issues
3- Stellers have a rapist for QB
4- Cowboys oh boy
Have you heard of

Harvey Martin

We have good DL depth. Inactive next game would be my answer.

Shame we lost Lawrence Thomas early in the year.. He was looking good hopefully he still has that same drive when next season starts.... If he plays like he started out this year Richardson won't be missed by us.. Not with his attitude.

You know with this franchise anything negative is possible.

Here's the difference between a franchise like ours and the Cowboys, we draft Wilkerson and Richardson and they are both HOF type talents but not living up to it. While the Cowboys pick up a 23 year old undrafted player off the Chiefs waiver wire and he is turning out to be a beast. Can't remember his name but he is a 6'7", 285 lbs monster DE that will probably be the next mean joe green for them. I know mean joe green didn't play for the Cowboys but you get my point.
