Tonight's game confirms that there are different tiers amongst the NFL. The elite, the contenders, the pretenders, and the bottom dwellers. I missed the first half, turned to watch maybe 20 minutes of real time, and turned off the game. It reminded me of how the Jets used to play prime time games. Just give away games like they were paid to lose. Pats have a tough sled ahead of them. I'm more concerned with the Chargers than anyone else in this division. Best bet is to beat the Fins for the seventh seed.
As I type this, the New York Jets are:
A. In the toughest division in the NFL, and
B. Stand at 7-6, and
C. Have 4 remaining games against a veritable zoo.
D. Three of the four teams the Jets will play have records equal to or worse.
It's not unreasonable to expect the Jets to beat the hapless 5-8 Jags. They've got a good chance to take one of the games against the Lions and the Sea Hawks. A 9-8 season beckons. That sure beats 4-13.

With that Patriots win yesterday it truly isn’t looking good for our boys! Bill Belibitch always finds away to ruin in for our Jets. Well I guess it’s best to say they ruined it for themselves. We’ll just hope for the best and hopefully our boys make it in. They definitely fall in the pretenders mode, RIGHT NOW!

Pats have a tough schedule. The Jets have a very winnable schedule. The Jets can beat the next 3 and the Dolphins aren't good either.
