Jets remaining schedule

I don’t want to make this into a prediction thread. I don’t want to get into that because I don’t want to jinx our team or set myself up with failure with the hopes and expectations. So this is not a thread about that but what I did want to discuss is the rest of the Jets schedule, the possible record and the rest of the AFC playoff possibilities.

The Jets have to win at least 4 out of the next 8 games for a shot for the playoffs! It’s just that simple! Anything less than that and I don’t think a playoffs are even in the discussion. To be honest, I don’t think 10 wins will be enough for the Jets to make a playoff push either. There will most likely be 8-9 teams in the AFC that will win 10 games or more. If the numbers are even possible for that!

Let’s go through them: I see the Bills, Dolphins, Titans, Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, Chargers and the Jets being the 8th team to possibly win 10 games. If this is possible than the Ravens and Bengals already have the edge over the Jets. Titans will win their division, so they already get a bid. Chiefs will win their division and the Chargers can probably squeak out 10 wins also. Bills and Dolphins will obviously win 10 or more games as well.

This leaves the Jets with the possibility of being left out the playoff picture, even with 10 wins on the season. Let’s not forget about the teams that can possibly be on the Jets ass like the Patriots. As long as Belibitch is the HC the Patriots can never counted out. There’s only 7 spots for playoffs teams, so can the Jets be one of them? I believe they can but to make sure of that, they need to win 11 games.

This Patriots game is the most important. Not only because it’s a revenge game but the Jets are technically a better team and should beat them. They gave that first game away but now they have to pull off a possible miracle and beat these bastards in their own home. Can they do it??? If they play the way the did against the Bills ofcourse they can. This game is one of the games they have to have because they are the better team and should beat them.

Then we have the Bears, Lions and Jaguars, games they should win also. Any given Sunday is they saying that holds true, so the Jets can’t sleep on anyone but there is no reason the Jets should lose these four games. The Bills game will most likely be a loss. The Vikings game will probably be the same. The Seahawks game is a game that can go either way but this a home game for the Seahawks, so… Last is the Dolphins game at home and they will want revenge.

So, I’d say 11 wins is the mark for a playoff spot but 10 wins will not only be a huge accomplishment but may possibly get us in also!

I don't know, but they have beaten both of them.
I figuring every game and the division title will come down to a dog fight between all three. No one’s gonna run away with the division and the Patriots will be right there with 8-9 wins themselves. However, if they find away to beat teams that are clearly better than them like the Jets, maybe they become that 10 win team. The Jets have to be on there A ++ plus this Sunday and can’t let this one slip away, AGAIN!

I agree this is a must win, but a signature win.

It will be but if they don’t … Will it be the end of their season or will they bounce back and still win 4-5 or their remaining games. I personally don’t care if they win another game this year. Just as long as they BEAT THE FUCKING PATRIOTS!

They could still make the playoffs, but this is a big game for the Jets.

4 team. Don’t count out cheatahs. If they beat us again they are up 2 on us
That’s why this game is SUPER IMPORTANT! There’s just not getting around that. You have the factor of what you mentioned. Plus it’s a rivalry game factor, that’s not really a rivalry because Belibitch clearly has our number. Last is the fact that all 4 teams are still fighting for the division or a wild-card. No one is running away with it or clearly out the race.

Here’s another thing that I believe I forgot to mention in my initial post of this thread. The Jets can’t lose anymore than 4 games the rest of this year or it’s truly a disappointment, PLAYOFFS OR NOT! I originally thought the Jets would win 7 to 9 games at most at the beginning of the season.

So I figured I’d split the difference with 8 wins and that would be a very good jump from last year. But now with them winning 6 games out of their 9 first games, there’s no way they can only win 2 out of the next 8 games. That’s totally unexplainable! So obviously winning the division is the goal at this point but they will most likely need 11-12 wins to do that. Can they???

This team has the capability to do just that. I firmly believe they are good enough. The question really should be Will They ?

Love the enthusiasm and trust in them. I can’t say I feel the same but if they manage to win this Sunday, that can definitely start to change!
