Let's have the kid develop into the backup role he was drafted for. No reason to throw him into the fire before he is ready to satisfy fan curiosity. He may actually become something if developed properly.

He's got nice touch and his receivers aren't acrobats to make grabs.

another thing I saw from his highlights was receivers caught the ball in stride.
I didn't think that happened anymore?

He won 3 Texas State titles where Drew Brees and Nick Foles attended. Set the school records for passing. He was pretty good two years ago at Clemson. He is a 4th round pick. No real pressure other than the typical Jets fans and media saying he is playing well at OTA's. Thats the kiss of death. We can all hope he turns into something.

Then again Kyler Murray won 3 Texas State titles and never lost a game. Won a Heisman. Won OROY. Murray was the #1 pick which he was a bust.
