: If LaFleur remains as offensive coordinator in 2023 (and he should), he would be the first offensive coordinator to make it to three years on the job since Brian Schottenheimer, who held the job from 2006-11. Tony Sparano, Marty Mornhinweg, Chan Gailey, John Morton, Jeremy Bates and Dowell Loggains all lasted just one or two years.

We haven't seen anything creative (or necessary because of injuries) he has done to deserve it.
And he hasn't shown the ability to make in-game adjustments.
Even with the regulars available at the start of the season, the offense wasn't putting up huge numbers.
Do we want more of the same?

Or maybe the QB was holding him back?

Even in the run game? All the QB does is hand off and get out of the way.
But they get bupkis on the ground, too.

Yes
When the defense knows you can’t complete a 3 yard pass
Or if you do complete it it’s got a 3 yard loss
The run game suffers

Aaron Rodgers listed the Jets as #2 on his list of 11 teams He would accept a trade to. Just food for thought. Not a Fan of that. I would prefer JimmyG if they went that route. Draft Cunningham from Louisville if possible. I would be satisfied with that going forward.

I agree. Wonder if Tobin Rote is available or still alive?

I don't think the Jets have given up on Zach. This is a message benching as we all know. Accountability is a word whose definition Zach knows quite well by now and this benching is the lesson. Will it work? Your guess is as good as mine. I hope so because this is a Championship Caliber Defense if I ever saw one and they will keep this team in games.

I believe the have given up. Ask yourself: If you were Saleh and JD, would you trust that ZW will miraculously find the mojo to become a franchise QB? Or at least not the scrub we've watched for two seasons? Stake both careers on that belief? I doubt it. Both those guys don't want to get fired, which is what will happen if they go with ZW and he shows up again as, well, ZW.
