perhaps turning a "blind eye" is more the case then..

bowles seems to love to impersonate belichick in pressers.. so because of that, i'll use him as my example of respect some HC's get & some don't.. i'll be brief..

absolutely all of the things you brought up that have & continues to happen under bowles do not happen under belichick.. the reason is simple, that spit doesn't fly in NE.. people in NE don't have the luxury of keeping their starting positions/roster spots by not knowing the game plan & or not being able to follow it.. not being able to communicate it with teammates is also frowned upon..

people in NE that continue to show up late for practices, if at all get cut or traded..

stars that outlive their usefulness in NE get traded or allowed to sign with some other organization.. does a chubby future HOF CB come to mind??

granted, belichick is probably more feared in NE by his players than respected but what isn't debatable, the inmates don't run the asylum in NE.. at least not under the current HC..

Couldn't agree more, IMHO Bowles lost these guys awhile ago..it shows in their "consistent" flat performanceS.

btw Woody hired Charlie Casserly and Ron Wolf who hired Mike Maccagnan and few hours after Macc was hired he hired Todd Bowles...

Macc had the choice between two head coaches -- Quinn & Bowles he talked to both and chose Bowles...

(to be more specific when Casserly initially talked to Maccagnan about the job he mentioned both head coach candidates and asked him of the two which one would he prefer, Macc stated he needs to reach out to them)...

Woody tried to hire Mike Holmgren but Holmgren said no...

As far as TB & Billy boy in NE His first few years with the Browns were not very good. Our HC needs to grow just like the players. Same with big mac.

Lets give them all some time to grow. But the DL not getting sacks.......yes the DB's hurt but three bulls in a china shop are all part of the problem too.

In the day of passing having the best RD is good but I would not hang my hat on it.

We spent all this time & money to sign Fitz as the worst QB in the NFL

Gronk is going to the playoffs again........we don't even have a TE

Giants should be in the playoffs...Jets are not

Snacks should be in the playoffs, Mo & Sheldon are not

Revis won a SB with NE but was then cut & now we have him

Mike Tannenbaum may go to the playoffs Mo has his thumb up his a__



The good news is in todays NFL you can go from bad to good in a year.

Look I agree when things look bad it is often the time when things are starting to get better.

But I must say Forte, Marshall & Fitz are Vets we wasted money on. Two years no playoffs & money wasted. I know, I know we needed someone to show the kids how to throw Ints & drop passes.

I guess we are saving Powell until the team is good again.

You tell em Scotch, LOL!!! I'm with 100% on this except for Marshall. I still believe Marshall would be a monster for us if you gave us a real QB. Last year, Fitz was sorta a real QB and looked at what BM did. Yes BM has lost a step or two, but I believe he is still good for 85-90 catches with 1000+ and 10+ TDs with an average QB at least. That to me isn't wasted money. Now Forte is having a pretty good year but I believe we could of had that with a 5th round rookie 220+ pounder RB.

I 1/2 agree on Marshall but he is missing something....yes he is a nice guy at times but you know what they say about nice guys:global (31):

As far as BM losing a step or two. When you lose a few steps & need to take a BM you will not make it to the Super BOWL on time
