NEW YORK -- Rafael Montero's rehab assignment on Sunday apparently did not go entirely as planned.

Uggh! I was really counting on him to sure up the bullpen.

Yup, a win is a win, but these 9th innings are taking weeks off of my life. Bullpen is still scaring the crap out of me, and we are in another 0 for 20+ funk with runners in scoring position. Great performance by DeGrom and a much needed win.

Once Thor left with the game tied and it was our bullpen against theirs, you knew we were in trouble. If this team misses the playoffs, bullpen will be the reason. Any waiver wire deals for relievers out there??

Still, a split at Camden Yards is not a bad outcome, although it would have looked a lot better if it didn't come on the heels of the sweep by Pitt.

Johnson and Murphy sharing time at 1st. Wright will probably be eased in... sharing time with Uribe. Maybe 1 game on 1 off for the 1st couple of weeks.

The good news about Duda is that Conforto might not be sent down when Wright comes back. This experience is of great value to his maturation as a player. By the time Duda returns it will be past Sept.1 call-up
