That might have worked, if, they had any blocking success, but, they failed to get in in to the end zone way more than just 4 times. It's time to get tough and impose their will on defenses.
look I agree but our Rec's cant make tough catches now so I would have run it . I kept sending in plays but all I got back was return to sender

My issue with the play calling is the lack of mixing it up. Doing some smash mouth open up the play action, and once they start stacking the box it will open up some 1:1 opportunities for the receivers.
I’d like to see LaFleur start setting the offense up. Getting the defense biting and thinking X, then hitting them with Y. All the trickery is cute but sometimes you need to impose your will, and I’m not seeing that style from him.

Why won't this dipshit run the fuckin' ball?? He is going to get Mike White killed. Over 100 passes in last two weeks. And guess what? two losses.
In bad weather today, too. Need more balance.
Balance has always been the key to Jets victories. But when the defense doesn't create turnovers, and the offense has to drive the length of the field to score, and when they fall behind two scores, they have to pass more. This team needs more than a solid defense. Either the defense has to score or the return team has to create short fields. Our average start of drives is around the 25. It's asking too much for the offense to sustain drives when the run game stalls early.
I agree about running the ball more but despite all that, we lost that game because of a dumb azz play by Mosley, a fumbled by Carter and grandpa Flacco’s inability to hold on to the ball on a sack that he stepped into.
Those were the Big 3, but there were other reasons we lost, too. You’re not beating the Bills punching the ball in the endzone once. Field position was huge, and a lot had to do with Berrios watching the ball go over his head, and get downed inside the 5.
Honestly, everyone knows if you fall behind you have to throw the ball more. The issue I have is (we can be down by 3 and LaFleur immediately starts to abandon the run). He only goes to the run game is we have a lead! 3rd Quarter it's still a game and he's having White wing it all over the place!
LaFleur is a young OC as well, but similar to Zach, he doesn't seem to be learning. He continually keeps making the same mistakes.

Simply put...................Mike White took a beating because our Offensive Line can't protect and is not really very good at opening run lanes so running more wouldn't have gotten it done either. Look at the game again and take note of how many run attempts resulted in negative yards. We need better play from the "O" line. Mosley misread what Buffalo was intending to do. If they had actually ran the play he believed they were going to run we'd all be singing his praises for a great play. Mosley doesn't make many mistakes which is why he's the leading tackler on the team. Yeah, that misread was costly, but it didn't do anywhere near as much damage as our totally ineffective "O" line.
Yeah I don’t mean to beat this thing to death, but we lost in the trenches with our o-line and their d-line. When your QB gets hit like that several times in the 2nd half, those linemen need to man up and starting protecting him better. It seemed like the Bills were deliberately trying to knock his ass out. They sing White’s praises after the game, well, do your job better.
O-line unfortunately is a complete patch job and they were dominated from start to finish yesterday
Douglas did try to address the O-line in the offseason but unfortunately no GM can account for the entire starting unit (pretty much) going down to injuries. White's quick decisions makes them look better than they are, but it is a patched up O-line.
Knowing they can't block, why not do something "not so original" like lining up a backup O-lineman as a full back and smashed the damn line?????? This has been my #1 complaint of LaFleur the past 2 years! He can't coach the players he has "he throws plays out there for the players he wants"
1 TD and 1 FG yesterday. You still think Zach Wilson was the problem that they made him out to be? Do you think that the offense performed to its potential yesterday? There's a lot of things going wrong with the offense. And it needs to be better coordinated. #Lafleurneedstostepup
