perhaps a road trip to colorado??IDK
If they draft him they could have him room with Sheldon to mentor him, and play the big brother.
Who knows maybe Sheldon could take him for a car ride.

I go Eli Apple. Great man corner, let him learn under Revis who walks the year after. Corner will be problem if we rely on what we have. Ogbah isn't much better than Mauldin, but Apple is much better than Willams.

I think Marcus Williams is capable of holding down the fort as a #2 or #3. Besides, Bowles commented recently that Skrine is now the #2 CB. I don't view CB as a high need pick. Could we use another one via the draft? Sure, but Eli Apple isn't going to come in more ready than either Williams or Skrine, IMO.
I read Peter King's column the other day, and he said that he's talked to numerous scouts about players in this year's draft, and "more than a few" described Apple as one of the most overrated players in this draft.
I get it. I knew this one would go over like a lead balloon! No one at 20 is perfect. With our injury history at cb, in a pass happy league, I see cb as a big need. I know-- it sounds crazy to me too.
Apple--though not perfect-- I think, has a high ceiling as a man corner. From that list, he's my go.
Ragland would come next for me. Mauldin will continue to improve.
Ragland is a great prospect, but the Jets currently have Harris, Henderson, and Carter all on the roster covering 2 ILB positions. Ragland would turn that position into a traffic jam, with nobody really other than Mauldin at OLB. And I say that as a big proponent of BPA.
