Sheldon may have the higher ceiling but I feel like that ceiling is not that much higher than MO's. And if you factor in Leadership and Character traits Sheldon is sniffing Mo's jock strap.....

I'd prefer to keep MO all day everyday and twice on NFL Sundays.......

Your not going to get 2 high picks for Mo I like this plan from Joe Coporoso from turn on the Jets better...

The New York Jets trade Muhammad Wilkerson to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 38th and 101st picks in the NFL Draft. This move nets the Jets two picks and gives them 5 of the first 127 picks.

Do I think the Jets can get a first round pick for Wilkerson? Sure. Do I think they will get a first for Wilkerson? No. Wilkerson is not the best player at his position like Darrelle Revis was when the Jets moved him. he is also not arguably the greatest to ever play his position like Revis is. That’s not a knock on Wilkerson, who is very good and incredibly talented. However, you cannot keep Leonard Williams off the field cause you didn’t use the 6th overall pick on a part time player. You also can return Sheldon Richardson to his more natural position and have a better chance of re-signing Damon Harrison. A defensive line of Williams, Richardson, and Harrison can lead the league in run defense.

Wilkerson is coming off a broken leg and is asking for north of JJ Watt money if all reports are accurate. Tag, then trade him. Use the assets to continue to build your team. Why the Jaguars? They have the required cap space to trade for Wilkerson and pay him the contract he wants, they have a need on their defensive line, and they have two picks high enough that allows the Jets to continue rebuilding their roster.

As I posted in another thread, I think this is the most sensible way to move forward and build the team. We already have Mo's replacement on the team. It frees up almost $16mm in cap space which allows Mac to fill in holes that currently exist freeing him up to draft the best players available. Schwartz, Lamar Miller and Travathan are all young, talented and not break-the-bank players. And with five picks in the first four rounds you have the chance to build the offensive line, grab a future #1 CB, rebuild the LB slots and grab a running back to pair with Bilal Powell.

As great as Mo is, you simply can't spend over $30mm on two defensive players.
