I'm still within 5 pounds of my playing weight, and since I never could run, I haven't lost a step from my playing speed.
And, no we didn't wear leather helmets, we did have faceguards (single bar) and the girls who cheered for me took off more than their coats after the game.

I don't think Rt is the right move to draft right off. LT would be the choice. If we trade down with either Atl, Philly, or Car the pick would easily be Sewell or Slater and move the Hulk to LG. We're going to be a running team per our OC. Pick up a WR with our 2nd first Rounder and Either a Center, RG and or RT with our 2nd Rd pick (s).

We have been a running team for 50 years....we run for the exits after the first half. nothing new here......I agree lets build a running game & great d. Then we can lose 7-0 but the games will go quicker

You could trade down with either Carolina, Broncos, and Cowboys at #8, #9 , #10 and get your top OL not named Sewell or maybe Pitts (TE) and an extra 2nd + picks. That's what I'd do if I was inclined to keep SamD.

They would have to give next years first along with that second, plus to move up to the #2 .

I beg your pardon, but I played QB in the single wing formation. He is lined up 1/4 of the way from the line to the fullback or tailback, usually behind the strong side tackle. The primary jobs are to call the play, block for the ball carrier (who receives a direct snap from the center) and occasionally carry the ball on an inside reverse or sweep.
