People just need to let the ghost thing go - it's tired and boring. And perpetuating this myth that suddenly Darnold forgot how to play the position and all he sees is ghosts and can't read defenses is ludicrous. For the 10th time, it's a common expression - they say it in pop warner for goodness sake. It means, he wasn't seeing the field well that day that's all. The Patriots were running some complex defenses. Nothing film study couldn't fix.
PoP warner I agree that is where he should have been playing at that time.....I do agree.
How can you let go what you cant grab hold of? Now if the ghost is tired & bored he should try basketball......there is a lot more action in that game.
