BigMoe, I have been on this Board since it started years ago on Scout. And I was the person trying to get the political BS off the thread and the Board. My comment probably should not have been added to this thread, so I agree with that. I am fine with dropping with the subject, that was my preference and intent to begin with.
Amen, MJ was right from the beginning. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt but he was atrocious today. Forte should be cut tomorrow, he is done. And finally, TB is just an abysmal HC.
Thank you. I am sick of seeing the political stuff on the main board. Certain people do it just because they know it bothers others. It's trolling, or perhaps even beyond.

There are some things I actually liked today. Some of the young receivers impressed me. The OL was pretty good in pass pro. Cat was good kicking. Liked the safety play, especially Adams. And it was close late, even if there was no point at which the Jets looked like they'd actually win the game.
I'm not looking at this from a wins and losses perspective. There were positives. And the team is closer to that top pick.

I would have gone for 2 in that spot. I don't buy into this argument about extending the game. Down 2, you go for it.
What if he kicks, and nobody scores the rest of the game and they lose 14-13? Everyone gets to hammer Bowles for kicking.

Think the team need to see what these young QBs have already. If the team feels Hack isnt ready, then give Bryce a shot and evaluate accordingly.

Wanted to ask you a QB question since our QB discussions in the past. Obviously we're headed to Tank town this season. Who do you like overall.
Personally, i absolutley love the kid from Oklahoma, Baker Mayerfield. Been following him since early last season. The kid has incredible moxy and toughness about him. Compared to Russell Wilson on his elusiveness.
I have this inkling that more people will be tuning in on him this season as he might be as intriguing as DeShaun Watson became last year heading into the NCAA championship game.

Hey Dan, hanging in there been fighting some health issues but this is not the place. .As far as Mayfield goes I can't fight my height bias if a QB is not 6'4" to 6'6" he doesn't make my short list. That's what excites me about next years daft all the big 3 make it. plus a few others do also.
Gonna have to go 0-16 because the 49ers are just as bad.

They will, trust me on that. Just let me know when McCown gets hurt so I can start watching them play. Not really interested in watching Petty play but I will. I'm more interested in Hack. We all know he's not the answer, just like Petty isn't but at least Hack hasn't played yet and the curiosity and small bit of hope is still there.
yep.one good take I have from today.. I like what Morton wants to do with the offense. A QB will go a long way to making that happen
I wouldn't count out Petty yet. I have a feeling this offense suits him. I think Petty's issue is he is injured often. They need to try to develop both even if not the answer. Decent QB's can always get some type of pick in return.
Kearse looked good, too, especially for just getting there.
OL-Pass protect good, run blocking poor. No holes compared to what McCoy had.
I'd like to see a young LB take Davis' spot, too.
oh and it looks like Morton knows that TE's are allowed to catch passes.
