Many aren't. The question is, is Bowles the guy to oversee a rebuild. I'm not sure.
I will say, I do not want this team to go hog wild in free agency, if it means bringing in aging guys on huge contracts. Can we, for once, build a team right?

If Petty sucks for 4 games then Hack better be ready or this team is many many years from being competitive.
I was encouraged to read this morning that the Jets plan on clearing the expensive veterans and starting the rebuild. It's the only way.
i agree. I have said in the past that Bowles has seen more of petty than we all did so there was a reason he was resisting playing Petty but I would have gone to Petty sooner.

Oh, and the OL looks wonderful. I don't think I'd want a franchise QB behind that line, especially after that gang sack.
