I would move heaven and earth to get him...not that I am bias or anything. My daughter has gone to every homecoming game he's played in (and will again this year). Sad when I am jealous of my daughter. We're going together this year.

My concern with White and Dupree is the same. They are both combine warriors, one hit wonder type players. I prefer guys that have a track record of production in college.

kevin white was 3rd in division 1 is receptions and 6th in receiving yards. seems to me that is pretty good production in college and not just a combine warrior

Not so sure I want Mariota, however, if he falls to 6 you have to take him. One, he could be your qb of the future. Two, if teams want him then he is a good trade chip to get a better qb, albeit a qb on the aging side. But, if he is there I run up to the podium.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is Ivy league......how far has his brain taken him? Don't get caught in the trap of big brain equals big results. Guy is unproven. You and I have NO idea what he will do in that moment of decision.

Hes smart enough (HIGHEST WONDERLIC EVER) and athletic enough to make more money than any one of us in his lifetime..in a cpl seasons...

If he is at 6, we simply must either take him or do a deal. Now, he wont drop to 6 - less than 1% chance I think - but if he is there you take him or get major picks for him.

Other folks have responded to the White charge, so no need to go there. As far as Dupree goes, he actually had very good production over the course of his career for a very weak program against the monsters of the SEC. He sacks the QB and plays the run, and on top of that had a very good combine. So I'm not sure where you are getting the one year wonder and workout warrior tag. Fowler is the only better all around edge player in this draft.

I have Dupree going around 15 or so and way behind Fowler, Williams and Beasley and Shelton on the DL/LB defensive players grid

Were it not for character issues, he'd be behind Ray and Gregory too

The guy who developed Hackenberg is the guy who molded Brady after the Pats drafted him. Hackenberg at 17 was better than Cook is now. But we shall see.

I agree on dupree we need to find a way to get him..........he is the only edge rusher that can play with his hands in the dirt or standing up.

i don't see the jets moving up to 2 in any event. but i'd find it very shocking if they moved up to 2 for something other than a QB.
