Sounds like Geno is having a terrific training camp.

This kid has the physical tools to be a very good QB in this league if the light goes on for him in year three. I know its early and I'm not jumping to conclusions, but so far the early returns from camp sound very bullish.

Sure does, not a big Smith supporter, but he looks good so far

Too me Geno was always a no-brainer to get first dibs on the starting job. Its his job to lose, exactly as it should be. Fitzpatrick is a career journeyman and he's not getting any better, he is what he is, a backup caliber QB with average arm talent. If he is your starter, you are looking for an upgrade. Geno, OTOH, has good arm talent, good size and good mobility. He has all of the physical tools to be a quality QB in this league at the very least, provided he limits his turnovers and becomes more consistent, which is still possible in year three. Unlike Fitzpatrick, the book is not yet closed on his ceiling. Thats why you start Geno and go to Fitzpatrick if he spits the bit, not the other way around.
