What i find interested in the Fitzpatrick bashing is that those individuals tend to focus (and cant wait on the negatives of the player). As opposed to harnessing the positives the old man did in order to win the game.
IMHO, the win trumps the interceptions the guy has made.
Had Geno been starting, no way in hell would be be sitting here at 3-1. More like 2-2. 1-3 or with all the mistakes the guy hasn't learned from , a possible 0-4.
We all know what we have in Fitzpatrick. A veteran QB who , placed in the current situation he's in can make the throws to win you the ball game. As in any vet who has a good run game, excellent WR and a dominant defense. Fitz will not cost you multiple games as Geno is so accustomed to doing. On the other hand, Fitz will maintain the lead and let the defense work, but also give them a breather in sustaining a drive that can last 5-6 minutes. Not a 3 and out...as we're accustomed yet again to Geno's performance. Geno's turn overs turn into points, Fitz's turn overs are like a punt on 3rd down.
Let's not get it twisted. Some here and all around of Jets nation want to see what Geno Smith has to offer and feel he might be a better option than what Fitz can bring. To those i state:
Check your selves in this institution and maybe, quite possibly you'll receive the memories of a player who plays wreckless, foolish and childish...and never gives us any chance to win.

This may help the Geno'apologists get a grip on how Fitz has made this team better.
