With one week to go the Jets are currently drafting #6 overall.
To the far right is the strength of schedule and that is the first tiebreaker. The teams with the lower SOS indicates a weaker schedule, therefore they are presumed the weaker teams and they in turn win the tiebreaker.
As for stuff that is pertinent to the Jets:
* SOS indicates the Jets are locked-in ahead of SD, so it would appear that we can finish no worse than sixth.
* A Jets loss combined with a Rams win and we would leap the Rams by virtue of a poorer record, however if the Rams lose the current SOS indicates that we are locked in behind them in the draft order.
* A Jets loss combined with a Jaguars win and we would win the SOS tiebreaker there, thus leaping Jacksonville in the draft order.
* A Jets loss combined with a Bears win and we currently hold a slim SOS advantage to leap them too, however the margin is so small that I can't be sure if the SOS will still hold following next weeks games?

Week 17 schedules for the above games that matter:
Jets vs Bills
Rams vs Cardinals
Jaguars @ Colts
Bears @ Vikings
Note: The Jets and Bears are playing teams with an identical 7-8 record next week, but if the Jets lose that would mean the Bills finish 8-8, whereas if the Bears win that would mean the Vikings finish 7-9, and because the SOS margin is so small, its impossible for me to know if that scenario would flip the SOS in the Bears favor? It will be close, so we just have to wait and see.
