I was more in favor of getting a bigger #1 type like Drake London or Deebo. But Garrett Wilson was the top WR for a lot of more credible people than me. I’ll put my faith into this one. He and Elijah Moore could be nasty together.

It is always implied on draft grades. They arent grading the players, they are grading the pick.

McDuffie wasn't graded that high and was drafted around where he was projected. Hamilton fell but Hamilton is a safety which is a hard position high up in the draft because teams near the top have much more pressing needs.
OK I just saw what Garrett Wilson was wearing. I'm sorry but wearing a pearl necklace meant something totally different when I was growing up. Then again Bruce Jenner was still a man. Times sure have changed.

It's new. The world has changed. I'm glad the Jets are embracing it, rather than rejecting those changes.
It caught my attention also, but since I'm an old fart and out of touch with the times in regard to normal men's fashion, I've decided not to make any assumptions. How well he plays is more of a concern to me.

i was extremely disappointed last night UNTIL we got back into the first, and got JJ2. then, it all came together as to just how, on paper thus far, this first round, and the use of accumulated capital was brilliant.
Garrett completes the "basketball" analogy of a starting 5 for WR's & TE's.

With DJ, we actually have 2 CB1's on the unit, and gives Ulbrich & Saleh the flexibility to switch from a Zone to Man to confuse the best of QB's.
I was really upset with this pick, because we had a good Zone unit, but this puts that unit over the top.
JJ2 makes, on paper, helps the entire DB, and line.
Q & JFM are going to be running wild inside with JJ2 & Carl garnering massive amounts of attention on the outside.
Simply an astounding 1st round from JD who was under immense pressure to deliver.
