Every QB the Pats have taken in the past decade have been the next Tom Brady, according to their fans. Hoyer? Tom Brady's successor, they won't miss a beat. Ryan Mallett? He'll step right in and follow in Brady's footsteps. Garoppolo? He is going to be big-time. Now we'll hear it with Brissett.

By far the best pick of our draft. While I don't love the Lee pick, we have got so much faster on our D. We now have a TRIO of disruptive LB'ers in Mauldin, Jenkins, and Lee that can fly around the field and make plays. I expect us to generate a lot of turnovers with these guys.

I'm not convinced Jenkins can necessarily fly around the field, but I do love the remade linebacking corps.

very happy for graham glasgow. former walk-on at michigan, now gets drafted in the 3rd by the lions. would have been a guy i wouldn't have minded for the jets. versatile and can play center, guard or even tackle in a pinch

I am no Cook fan, but I am shocked Kessler went off the board before him. His measurables are awful and his upside seems to be minimal. I mean I can see him having Detmer upside lol

I'm not surprised Brissett went ahead of him, that kid is one of the most underrated prospects in the draft, big, strong, mobile and a strong arm, while Cook, IMO, is one of the most overrated and I've been saying it for months. There is nothing about Cook that makes me think he has a high ceiling. That said, I am surprised Kessler went ahead of him too.
