They may. But a lot of other teams passed on him up to that point, as well. The Jets aren't the only team.
true, but you rarely hear about one safety in a game let alone two. They need playmakers on offense and they have zero.

I like this Safety, Oakland has quietly had a nice draft.Oakland take Obi Melifonwu, UConn
yep... And after these 2 start making plays and smacking people all over the field, everyone's going to be looking g for their jerseys...i didn't like taking another safety, but the hyperbole here is silly.
reminding me of why i stopped posting here for a while. yeah, let's hope the team moves out of NY because they took 2 safeties...
please don't feed the trolls.Wait. He picks a guy who can help the team, and it's another reason to bash him for a previous injury bust?
I mean, if that's the case, every pick they make is either a bad pick because it's a position of need and they hadn't addressed it earlier, or it's not a position of need and they wasted their pick.
By that logic, which is sound logic, but so are TE's of increased value, and we have nothing but garbage at the position, and we had two TE's with ridiculously high upsides staring us dead in the face when we took a second Safety instead, thats the part that really pisses me off, IMO the second Safety we took was not even the BPA, we had arguably the best CB in the draft still on the board, the second best RB, and two TE's with sky high production, measurables and ceilings.I disagree with that. I think Enunwa is a playmaker.
As for safety, you may not hear about them, but in a copycat league where teams are going to the multiple TE sets in copying NE, safeties are of increased importance.

5-foot-11 Jets WR ArDarius Stewart said he feels 6-7 when he's on the field. Also said he wants bring his "sauce" to the Jets.
5 picks to go and Butt is still hanging out there
So is Dorian Johnson
Where would you play Johnson?
Depth at Guard
Also could possibly push Carpenter?
Jets traded out of the last pick tonight
So I see. I'd like to get the particulars of the deal.
