I never wanted to draft Wilson because I didn’t think he was ready for what he was going to be forced into. Fact of the matter is he’s talented as all getup . If the game slows down for him he’s going to be fine .
I don’t think you can teach what I saw from Mike White today . He’s a leader . He had that entire team fired up today. His teammates were peeved when he got hurt and excited when he came back to the sidelines.
It was different when Wilson got hurt . The team was more upset than peeved .
No he doesn’t but the kid is a natural born leader and it showed . It reminds me of how Chad galvanized the team when he took over from Vinny .Fun game, nice job by White, but does anyone really and truly believe that he has a higher ceiling than Wilson?
I do. He may not have the arm that Wilson has, but this offense doesn't need a big arm. His college coach said he was a leader. Wilson wasn't even a captain. That means something.
so it's like the Draft Day movie with the guy whose teammates didn't go to his birthday party?
This team is going to be good . You can see the talent on the roster . The problem is the guys are all young and are learning on the job. This is going to be a tough year for Jet fans but it’s going to be better
The owner has to stop being influenced by the ravings of the fans and allow a coach and a decent GM to build something.I read somewhere on this site that that's what we should be reasonably expecting for a couple of years from such a young and unjelled team with new coaching and new system. Everyone on the team and the coaching staff are all participating in an on the job training project. T - I - M - E in the program equals learning.
Defense is so much better with Mosley on the field . He’s so knowledgeable about what’s happening it’s uncanny
You hope you never find out??? What does that mean? Not salty about Sam. Wilson has done nothing to show me he is a competent NFL QB. Maybe he can be good. I hope I never find out. Hope Mike White continues to grow.
I disagree. The team has to allow Wilson to play himself off the roster. It’s too darn bad we lost the kid we drafted .At the very least if White keeps them competitive or is winning Wilson doesn't deserve to be starter.
Saleh will be frantically eating bananas with a view to strewing the skins in Wilson's path. 'Nasty fall there kid, perhaps you shouldn't dress for a couple more weeks'.At the very least if White keeps them competitive or is winning Wilson doesn't deserve to be starter.
While I am willing to hand the ball back to Wilson when he returns, you can’t over look how this team embraced White and how he took control of the role of team leader. You hope you never find out??? What does that mean?
Sounds to me like you do want to quit on Zach just that quick because of what happened to Sam. I remember how big of a fan you was/still am of him. I was to but I realized in year three that Sam just didn’t have it. He didn’t have a team around him true enough but he wasn’t throwing from his back or running for his life on every play. He did have time to make things happen at times but couldn’t get it done must of the time.
You see how things are going for Sam the past few games with the Panthers. He is truly revealing himself. I also remember how you made every excuse for Sam when he was with us also, but you want to give up on Zach after 5-6 games. Come on man it’s obvious you salty over this Sam situation. Just admit it!
I still have faith in Zach and see ALOT more talent in him then I do in Sam or Mike White. Mike just has a grasp on the game and this offense. He has been in the league for 4 years now!
True, I will admit to that. Let’s just see what happens when he comes back and how the team responds. Isn’t Zach a captain now or am I wrong am I thinking? While I am willing to hand the ball back to Wilson when he returns, you can’t over look how this team embraced White and how he took control of the role of team leader.
