Don't forget nobody came to Wilson's defense on that play he was hurt. That tells me what I need to know.
No he doesn’t but the kid is a natural born leader and it showed . It reminds me of how Chad galvanized the team when he took over from Vinny .

I read somewhere on this site that that's what we should be reasonably expecting for a couple of years from such a young and unjelled team with new coaching and new system. Everyone on the team and the coaching staff are all participating in an on the job training project. T - I - M - E in the program equals learning.
At the very least if White keeps them competitive or is winning Wilson doesn't deserve to be starter.
The owner has to stop being influenced by the ravings of the fans and allow a coach and a decent GM to build something.
Been saying that all along. He may have gotten overpaid but he is without a doubt a deference maker on the defense when he's on the field.

Sounds to me like you do want to quit on Zach just that quick because of what happened to Sam. I remember how big of a fan you was/still am of him. I was to but I realized in year three that Sam just didn’t have it. He didn’t have a CS and team around him true enough but he wasn’t throwing from his back or running for his life on every play. He did have time to make things happen at times but couldn’t get it done must of the time.
You see how things are going for Sam the past few games with the Panthers. He is truly revealing himself. I also remember how you made every excuse for Sam when he was with us also, but you want to give up on Zach after 5-6 games. Come on man it’s obvious you salty over this Sam situation. Just admit it!
I still have faith in Zach and see ALOT more talent in him then I do in Sam or Mike White. Mike just has a grasp on the game and this offense. He has been in the league for 4 years now!
I disagree. The team has to allow Wilson to play himself off the roster. It’s too darn bad we lost the kid we drafted .

While I am willing to hand the ball back to Wilson when he returns, you can’t over look how this team embraced White and how he took control of the role of team leader.
True, I will admit to that. Let’s just see what happens when he comes back and how the team responds. Isn’t Zach a captain now or am I wrong am I thinking?
The team will revolt. Look how they looked with White. Wilson is just not a leader.
He is a captain because they know it would look bad if he wasn't one in college and he isn't one in the pros. They gave it to him by default.
Sounds sort of like Saleh knew what he was talking about when he said he had confidence in White to be the # 2 and didn't feel pressured to bring in a vet QB.
Yes I hope I never find out. I hope Mike White is our Kurt Warner. I just want a QB. I wish we didnt waste a #2 pick, but if this team plays hard for White and we win or stay competitive then Wilson gets to sit on his ass. Best player plays and yes you can lose your job to injury. We haven't seen a Jet team play this hard for their QB since Fitz.
