Yeah getting destroyed by the Lions is devastating to the Cards.
I went to BWW to watch the second half. Saw the last 25 minutes of the game. I was going to post plays from the game log and comment on them but decided that some more generalized comments are more appropriate. On defense, our front 7 looked lost. The dl and lbs were not in sync. The o-line couldn't pick up a blitz if they're lived depended on it. Zach Wilson had trouble finding open targets and held on to the ball too long. The fumble is completely on Wilson as he had an open receiver on a 5 yd slant in with trailing coverage.
...which brings me to another point. Wilson is slow on his reads.
well when Quinnen went out the DL got eaten alive...
Rankins came in and was the only one collapsing the pocket...
JFM disappeared...
Huff & Phillips didn't set the edge and got eaten up inside when they stretched the runs off tackle we lost that leverage...
CJ Mosley got his tackles again but gave up the seam in coverage...
Think Quincy Williams got hurt because Sharrod Neasman came in to play linebacker with CJ...
hows that because he is not 10 feet tall to catch that ball? even Andre the Fucking Giant could catch that air mail...
Mims didn't help nor did he hurt the team today...
