They've broken down the access by days, now this is the start of breaking it down by games. Soon you will be paying for tickets at home to watch a game (think PPV style).

They are selling slots over and over. Youtube won Sunday ticket and immediately double the price of it! I'm about ready to stop watching football and I can read about the game the day after.

The NFL has a money cow with the broadcasting of games now. They greed has gone overboard and the billionaires are shooting for trillions!

There's a scene in Days of Thunder when Tom Cruise loses control of the race car entering the pits, and as he heads for the wall, he says "Oh, this is going to hurt" ... big red wall ahead

On the other hand, Mrs. Fud sez, "oh ye of little faith, Jets will win it in a last minute thriller"

Time to revert back to the 60's when home games weren't televised and just listen to the game on radio. Some of my favorite Jets games were listening to Merle Harmon call a close one

I have Hulu which began as a good price. Disney owns it so they turned my subscription into Hulu plus espn+, plus Disney+. At a good price.

of course it’s Disney , so they quickly raised the price a little. Now they’re about to raise it a lot. If not for my daughter loving Disney +, I’d be switching to iTunes tv, which will most likely raise their price soon to get it up to just below Disney hulu

Totally agree that the NFL will eventually be a pay service. We see it almost there with Thurs. night games on Prime.

Hopefully the price per game will be based on how good or bad the team is. That way the nfl will have to pay us to watch Jet games

The last few years, every TV/media entity has a "plus". Just another money grab. Usually, we subscribe to Hulu, Apple, and the rest when there are a few movies or series to watch. Once they're done, we cancel.

This is a game that the jets may decide to win to get our hopes up, then lose to Denver by 50

we really have 2 choices of Jet seasons.

1. We just all out suck but just win enough to miss out on the pick we want or

2. What we got last year. We play good enough for half a season to get everyone’s hopes up, then we loose the last 8

in both options, we end up beating a couple teams that we have no right to beat and lose to a few teams that suck almost as bad as us

That’s the smart thing to do. If everyone had the patience to do that, they’d change the rules so we have to have year subscriptio. They bank on most people signing up then forgetting to cancel when they haven’t watched the channel for 6 months. I have a few subscriptions that I should drop cause I only watch 1 show on them and right now there’s nothing new so I should be dropping them until the next season begins, but I’m too lazy. And stupid

My favorite football announcer ever. Loved it when he came over from the Giants (replaced Harmon right?)

Back in high school, my non sports fan drummer was related to him. We were talking about what we were going to do with our lives (still trying to figure that one out) and I said the being a sports announcer might be perfect. Showbiz and sports combined. He told me that cousin Marty (mother's first cousin) did that for a living.

Marty who? I asked.

Not sure of his last name as which side of his mothers family he was from so he says well it's either Zeitz (or something like that) or Glickman. He was in the back yard sitting with my Mom when you picked me up today.

Haven't thought about that in years

Cool story. Loved Marty, and my favorite announcer, too. He was informative, knowledgeable, personable and funny all at once. I remember him doing ABA Nets games as well.

Think you're right about Harmon. I just don't recall.
