Lazard had 89 yards and 2 TD's but his drop on first drive set the tone.
In a way my two teams lost four games this weekend. If the jets had won it would help the cards. If the cards had won it would have helped the jets so 0-4......why me

I definitely agree with that! You can’t make any mistake against true playoff caliber teams and the 49ers is one of them. That drop in the first drive of the game was a fore-sight of what was to come! Why wasn’t M. Williams on the damn field? SMDH

The "O" line wasn't good by any means and the defense was absolutely powerless to stop the run and not great on pass defense either. To be fair the defense was worse than the offense. I'm trying to keep in mind the fact that this was the first actual game situation for these guys. As I recall only one of our starters played in the pre season games and that was Tippman. I'd say that was a mistake. I didn't really expect that they would win this game but I did think it would be much closer.
This defense was lights out for two years with the worst QBs stable there has probably ever been. Oline was horrible also. If the defense is just as good as then, and I know tonight is not a good example of that but if they are, they can do it. Plus the online protected A-Rod pretty well. The run blocking and RBs was garbage, which was very surprising!
This was definitely a horrible display of who the Jets really are and can be! I believe this is a MUCH better team than what we seen tonight. Especially with A-Rod! I just hope they don’t prove me wrong! What baffled me the most was M. Williams, was he even on the field???
Yeah he was on the field for a few plays. Just blocking from what I saw.
I think they played harder because they had no QB help. Now they think Rodgers can fix everything and he can't. They also can't stop the run and haven't been able to for years. Teams are going to exploit that if they can. I have zero hope for this team until they prove otherwise. We will know more in the next 3 weeks whether it starts to gel.

I think the reason I'm most disappointed is we didn't even compete with the 49ers. They got the shit kicked out of them. They made a handful of plays, but at no point did I think the Jets had a chance after the Jets 1st TD. No matter what the roster looks like Coach Rah Rah is not the guy to lead the Jets. Can this team beat the Titans? Yes. Can they beat the top 4 teams? I don't think so. So for me, my disappointment is this team looks good on paper, but they can't hang with the best teams. And their ceiling is a wildcard and a loss in 1st round. The whole team looked like they hadn't played football in a year. Teams are tired of the love for the Jets. It was just hype. They have been exposed. I know it's a week to week league, but this game was not even close and the way you lose matters in this league. They could have lost 32-19 and 49ers pull away late and I would have felt better, but the 49ers scored on 8 straight possessions and should have scored more TD's. The defense stopped them once. The refs stopped the 49ers a few times. This felt like a 50-13 loss. I'm not freaking out, it just made me lose hope in what the season can be. I hoped it was a SB type team. It's a wildcard team at best. So in 6 years this elite roster that JD put together is either not being utilized by Rah Rah or it's not the elite roster JD thinks it is. Plenty of time to turn it around, but tonight's game really felt more like an exposure than just a loss. Winning any of the next 4 games won't change the vibes for me, but they better be 4-1 going into the Bills game. Let's see if JD panics and caves with Reddick.
Last time Shanahan was available, I wanted him for the Jets. Just sayin. Jets could have ruined him too
i never believed the hype. I was never convinced how great this defense was. they lost some key role players. they have always given up the game winning drive. They have never been good at stopping the run
the offense added some old guys to the offensive line and then none of those guys played together before the first game. It’s gonna take time for those guys to gel. They may be injured, or the season out of reach before that happens.
none of that matters for the offense if the defense never lets the offense see the field. There was a role playing reversal last night. Maybe this year the defense gets even with the offense for making them play the whole game every game for years.
how do you stop Aaron Rodgers? Keep him off the fiel.
i watched parts of all the top teams games this past week. Nothing, and I mean nothing, about the Jets resembled anything like the top teams.
most disappointing was the complete lack of emotion. The 49ers were playing inspired ball. The jets were totally deflated like a tom brady football from start to finish. No excuse for that. None

See if they come together in a few games.
They had to use Lazard. Williams isn't 100% as can be seen.
