I just don't want to see a "Chad Pennington II" situation with Rodgers heading to the sidelines holding his wrist. I still see this dumb play.

Rumor has it that Mekhi starts at RT against the Giants! Was there any doubt that he would ever be a starter??? Not for me it wasn’t. The only question was could he stay healthy and as long that is the case, this was a no brainer. Mekhi is a beast!

No rumor, it's been officially announced.
There were lots of doubts amongst the franchise. Seems his change in attitude over the past month is what prompted his opportunity per Saleh's press conference early today.
Hopefully he stays healthy. Personally I am hopeful he finally plays a full season.

One of the few games where I'm not concerned about first strings performance or the final score. Just get in and get out. Typically the last preseason game is for guys trying to make a name for themselves. Eagles (the previous fourth preseason game) had a gentleman's agreement where starters didn't play. I believe I read somewhere that the Giants starters are not playing. I prefer the Jets resting their starters tonight. The starting OL have not played as a unit and Brown won't participate. Perhaps it hasn't been determined who lines up at center. I think we'll see Tomlinson and AVT.

They just showed the Chad and Sanchez preseason debacles against the Giants on NFL Network. As I said earlier in the week, please don't let history repeat with Rodgers. With Zach at QB, we win three games. Maybe.

Watching NFL network and honestly, I prefer to have them like this. Keep doubting, keep discrediting, I prefer everyone as haters. Gives the team something to rally around "Us against the World" mentality

Sounds like this defense is legit. Rodgers is going to need to stay healthy and this OL will be the problem.

Defense is legit. On the DL, the second unit is about as scary as the first. Incredible depth. If Becton solidifies RT and Brown comes back at 100%, this team is scary good.
