This is why I no longer waste money on this team.
Darnold was terrible today. Held the ball too long & inaccurate. Dinks & dunks all day long.
All fucking year we waited for this shit
Last drive, 3 consective passes deflected.
Who cares. Not one positive from this organization. Mosley is the only one worth a shit and he is hurt and we signed him from another team. Maybe Adams will make a play one day. Here comes the spiral. Browns might embarrass us.
Tebow. We are 0-6. That's 6 games out of first place e and it's only week fucking 1
Douglas better bring in 10 kickers this week.
Ok so the way the Jets played today, I must admit I might have drunk the kool aide a little to much. 10 wins might be a stretch I must admit!
1. Secondary sucked as bad as I knew it would.
2. What I didn’t know is that we would struggle getting to the QB that much. Q. Williams has got on the field a lot more. Defense started out well but fizzled out in the second half quickly. Especially after the Mosely injury.
3. We have NO kicker. PERIOD!
4. Oline isn’t much better then it was last year.
5. We have no WR other then Crowder and he is our spot guy.
6. Lev Bell is the truth but behind that oline and no real WRs, other than Crowder and Herndon (when he returns) to help him, he will not produce the way we thought.
7. Darnold looked pedestrian today and if that doesn’t improve, our year will be a lot worse then an 7 or 8 game season.
9. Adam Gase the offensive guru has to do better than that. Play calling sucked all damn day.
10. Gregg Williams the defensive guru has to do better than that. He’s gotta get to the QB faster all game to cover up for that sorry ass secondary.
Last but not least Douglas better get some better players in here quick or this will be the long season that most thought it would be. Is it possible to turn this all around I don’t know but WOW is all I can say. Our only saving grace is that the Browns looked and got beat worse then what we did. Hopefully that continues next week and can get a win Monday night.

I think you should have stuck with my story. When you said 10 wins you meant under this regime over the 3 years they are here(total for 3 years) before we run them out of town.
we'll be playing an embarrassed Browns team next week on the national stage where we normally like to prove to the world that we are the Jets. Not Good. Lucky for me, I can't stay awake long enough to watch it and if I did, then I wouldn't sleep for the rest of the night
Gotta get more then 10 wins in three years. That is absolutely ridiculous. We even did better then that with Todd Bowles. Today was definitely a deflating lose and display of what this team will possibly look like this year. They might improve, hopefully we can chalk this up to first game performance like every other team and most will struggle game one but to lose a 16 point lead at home. There simply is no excuse.

That is what happens when your OL can not pick up basic NFL Stunts, or even block the man on the end of the line... so many bad OL plays it was inevitable because these guys have not practiced except for this week and it showed.
Also, AG play calling was bad if not down right terrible, I did not see one half time adjustment by the O, not one. Sound familiar? So genus not one roll out, nothing unique just feed bell the ball and throw to the slot....

In fairness, they did come out in the second half running no huddle. That is an adjustment. They didn't utilize it all half, but they did run it.
The OL needs time to gel. The pieces are there for a decent veteran line, but this is where their inactivity during preseason showed. They went against one of the better defenses in the league, and they looked like they had not played together. I am hoping for a much more cohesive line in a few weeks.
I would agree with you if the next 5 games(minus the Browns maybe) weren't what they are. Hard to get better when you are playing teams that are much, much better than you.
I said earlier that I wished the line had played a few series together in the preseason
we had the traditional defensive collapse that seems to be a permanent part of each Jet game
To me a big problem today was Kalil. He looked awful. Harrison should start next week. If they keep running Kalil out there then somebody should get fired. Maybe he can regain some of his game, but I would rather have younger.

Agreed! Kalil might have just lost 2-3 steps that can’t be recovered. Hope this isn’t the case but he just may not be who we and he still thinks he is.
