Not sure. But the Giants apparently didn't think much of Ellis. That's why he's available.

Maccagnan seems intent on keeping those whom he drafted. But I guess it's possible he could dump Barnes for Ellis.

hes not going to dump Brnes for Ellis..BArnes is more of a Bowles DT Ellis is more trtaditional 3-4 guy

He's back!

Very good news. I'm surprised actually. I thought another team would've taken notice of Miles. He laid some serious wood on that Eagles player at the goal line. And he's been getting great reviews in TC.

I know it's all relative, considering he did this stuff against backups. But I just have a gut feeling about this guy.

Well obviously I'm (pleasantly) surprised that he wasn't claimed, especially by the Giants, their Safety depth chart is decimated, but I still can't understand 10 OL's, that still sticks in my craw. I'd rather have Miles on the 53 who can blast some people on special teams. Oh well, at least we didn't lose him. :)

That's so funny Ronald Martin was 6'0 200 when he was tested at his pro day last year. He gain 2 inches and twenty pounds since? Some of these weight and heights the team list should be taken with a grain of salt.

That's so funny his NFL combine numbers list him as 6'2" 220 which in my mind our the most accurate numbers out there granted that numbers do vary. Here is a link to his NFL page http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/ronald-martin?id=2552394

I am assuming the 10 OL thing is temporary. Ijalana has the knee sprain -- I am hoping/expecting that if he shows the knee is good in practice this week, then Qvale gets shipped out and takes that last spot on the PS. If Ijalana is not good to go, with Aboushi on the suspension, we would not have anyone to back-up the tackles. And I am not suggesting Aboushi is a good option as a T, but he is an option relative to Qvale.

I don't see anything official from the Jets about Miles on the PS

I hope he didn't catch a resentment over not making the 53 and is looking to latch on with another teams PS. I saw that happen once before with one of our players. I can't remember who, but he was pissed that he didn't make the team, rejected our PS offer, and signed with another teams PS.

Not sure what the hold up is here, this could have been done five minutes after he went unclaimed.

I'll wait till its official before I add him to the PS chart at the top of page one.
