ok Joe Douglas you tell us what your front office is planning to dobig reason why Jets FO will look to upgrade over him.
even though I heard straight from people at Florham Park who state otherwise

best part about this they reiterated same message in post season, season review press conference but @DefenseWinsChampionships is really Joe Douglas who is planning to rid all the players he personally doesn't like to stack the team with his personal favorites...ok Joe Douglas you tell us what your front office is planning to do

As long as they don't overpay this guy I don't have a problem with it. I like Berrios as a player but he did play above his head last Season.no they are in final talks of the extension for Berrios...
keeping Mims is because of his ceiling...
that one catch over the middle where he dragged the defenders and broke tackles is what they want from him...
the catch down the sideline at the beginning of the season was another point of his potential...
after the dropsies Corey had this year they want another guy to offset and believe Mims could be that guy...
Berrios is a 4th maybe 5th option on offense but is our returner with pop...
Berrios shows he is a baller and they want to keep that type of mentality here...
or did he that is who the Patriots thought they drafted... but he was expendable to them with Edleman in house at the time... they tried to sneak him onto the practice squad but we claimed him and utilized him primarily as a returner, we never gave him that shot until last year with all the injuries then and because of Sam Darnold did Berrios step into the spot light this past season with all the injuries...As long as they don't overpay this guy I don't have a problem with it. Actually you're wrong again. All signs point to them keeping Mims as least from what I've read. Your guess is as good as mine as to why. I don't think he's shown enough to warrant a full roster spot, but maybe a place on the squad.Denzel Mims 20 career games with 0 TDs and only 490 career receiving yards is a big reason why Jets FO will look to upgrade over him.
Elijah Moore as a Rookie despite only 11 games = 6 TDs and 538 receiving yards.
Elijah is a 2nd round steal with star potential and I'm sorry but Denzel Mims is a 2nd round bust.
Corey Davis.
Elijah Moore.
Braxton Berrios.
Are all here to stay on our WR depth chart.
FA WR.
2022 Drafted WR.
And Denzel Mims becomes a 6th WR on our depth chart (at best).
He's done for (as a Jet at least).
I been telling you what i heard when I talk to my friends there that they are looking a specific people but you don't want to hear it you just want to run your mouth on who you like not who fits what the team is doing, it doesn't fall into your ideals it is wrong...Ok so did Flotham Park tell you that A.) JD won't sign a FA to upgrade over Denzel Mims and B.) Wont draft a WR during the 1st two rounds in order to upgrade over Denzel Mims (ala your boy Dotson)?
Because just common sense alone tells you that JD is going to do both (A & B).
And please don't address me (as a fan) as being "Joe Douglas" because your site or not that's disgusting and disrespectful (when all I'm doing is taking Jets Football).
Yeah but he does have an injury history and has torn the same Knee up in 4 Seasons. Big Red Flag there. I know Brax was a big contributor this Season, Hell he gave quite a few stand up and cheer moments. All I'm saying is look at the whole History and pay this guy like a KR and not a starting WR. He is replaceable if He wants big money and He will make no mistake about it. They can find a ton of hungry kids coming out of college who can do the same job and do it cheaper.or did he that is who the Patriots thought they drafted... but he was expendable to them with Edleman in house at the time... they tried to sneak him onto the practice squad but we claimed him and utilized him primarily as a returner, we never gave him that shot until last year with all the injuries then and because of Sam Darnold did Berrios step into the spot light this past season with all the injuries...
they wanted JuJu last year that wasn't a folk lore that was Joe Douglas wanting JuJuOk. You seem to love Dotson a lot. You also mentioned JuJu as a potential FA.
Are your friend's at Florham Park telling you the Jets are going to go after a FA WR and go after Dotson too?
was never a kick returner before but did what he had to, and became a damn good one... injury history aside all that gets inputted into extension talks like I said I believe no less than 14 over 4 years and maximum of 22 over 4 years is what I would do... He is worth that money even if only as a returner... but we see him as a wing back and receiver both outside on the perimeter and in the slot... just saying his versatility brings options to the team... Head Coach loves his vigorous style of work, off the field and on the field...Yeah but he does have an injury history and has torn the same Knee up in 4 Seasons. Big Red Flag there. they are NOT looking to upgrade over anyone they are looking to improve the offense...Ok. So obviously they are looking to upgrade over DENZEL MIMS (and not Corey Davis or Elijah Moore).
Sign a FA WR.
Re-Sign Braxton Berrios.
Draft a WR first two rounds.
And Denzel Mims then becomes a 6th WR on the depth chart, correct?
are you really trying to debate or disagree with me on this?
again your point of view...But I'll leave this Denzel Mims talk alone because imo he's done for and wouldn't be shocked to see him traded or downright cut.
Food poisoning lost 26 pounds in the off season...I'm not lost.
You are.
you know what is weird to me, a player never got his chance to get on the field (practice that is to really hone his craft) but was given opportunities to play but when he was open never thrown the ball, but when the QB had no other options tried to force the issue at him...It's weird to me.
I wonder if Bawden can be that guy. He looks like a thumper, but I only saw 1 play all season where he caught a pass and had good YAC, but I never saw a handoff to himi like the fact that you stated Carter was "an every down back".
I hate when backs get pigeon holed as a "utility", "change of pace", or "scat back" because they don't check the height and weight boxes.
they come in all sizes!
We do need a monster type of back who can do some tough sledding against teams like BUFF, BALT, PITT.
perhaps, Hassan Haskins out of MI.
They fit what the team is looking for and that’s why they were mentioned.Ok. You seem to love Dotson a lot. You also mentioned JuJu as a potential FA.

he doesn't get that he just want fuel to argue...They fit what the team is looking for and that’s why they were mentioned.
debatable but in this offense he could be the guy to take off the top of defenses allowing Corey Davis to work the middle end and let Elijah be more dynamic in catch n runs...Is Ju Ju Smith really a #1 receiver at the NFL level ? I like this player but I don’t believe he’s what we need . I’m looking for something special, our own new version of the late Maynard . I want someone to grow with This QB and be a “Batman” to Moore’s “robin” .
I wanna rebuild the team Walt Michaels gave to the late Joe Walton with a better Richard Todd. Am I crazy?
