after marshall and decker the drop-off in talent is huge.

kerley sucks wouldn't even make most teams rosters

This has got to be the dumbest post I have seen on this site. Kerley sucks? Did you even watch the game yesterday? You couldn't have. Besides Marshall, Kerley was Fitz main target. He made some excellent catches that extended drives. He's had great hands since being drafted. He's the only decent WR the Jets have drafted in recent years. He should be getting much more playing time. Now he may be in the Jets dog house for whatever reason, but it certainly has NOTHING to do with his playing ability. If you think he sucks, then what do you think of Quincy Enunwa?:roflmao:

Kerley not getting more PT is all scheme related. Everyone, myself included, wasn't shedding a tear for him weeks 1-2 when we were sitting here at 1-0 and then 2-0. Enunwa fits the scheme better since he is a very good blocker, and has size to play that hybrid TE/WR role.

I agree with those that said Kerley is better than Enunwa and Owusu. However there was obviously an adjustment for Fitz especially without Decker/Owusu and Kerley in there with Enunwa seeing more snaps at WR than usual.

Fitzpatrick had all summer and 3 preseason games to practice with Marshall, Decker, Owusu as his top 3 WR. Take decker and owusu out, insert kerley and there is and adjustment period. This is also why I think the offense looked more out of sync than usual. And we still could have won this game. Going forward I would definitely give kerley more snaps, especially if decker has to sit out more games. The Fitz/Kerley combo will have had a week under their belt going into this week and our bye. They'll get more in sync next week

Do you really think Kerley wouldn't be the #3 on any of those teams?

Come to think of it, what's the point in arguing with him? He's nuts. He probably also thought Stephen Hill was the next Jerry Rice. I have no idea if this guy is even from planet Earth?

Kerley's playing time and practice reps have been non existent because Gailey prefers big receivers.

Shame on Gailey for not getting him more reps, your qb needs to be prepared to play with any wr. Also kerley needs to not be rusty when his number is called, which requires reps.

That odell Beckham catch kerley made on the sideline that was reviewed by Bowles and he lost, was a tremendous play which showed why he needs to be worked into more plays.
