So he could be a starting guard in his 5th year?? I sure our new QB doesn't take that long.
Would be a nice addition to our roster. Coming off the injury, could be cheap, great addition to the special teams and a Quality Corner for rotation/insurance.
Any news on who attended the Jets local Pro day? Not a fan of the rules as some teams have a major advantage sa far as Players who can attend. The Dolphins Raiders Rams and Cowboys for example.
The Jets held their pro day for local prospects yesterday.
Each team is allowed to bring up to 30 non-local prospects to its facility for a predraft visit. Local prospects, however, can attend a pro day and not count against that allotment of 30 visit. The league has a very loose definition of local prospects. Prospects who grew up in the area and/or attended a local college are allowed to attend.
The Jets did not officially release names of attendees to the public, but a number of names leaked to the media over the last few days and weeks.

I figured there would be mostly Rutgers and Stony Brook players.

I know. I watched Ian Rappaport give her a birthday present on the good morning football show. The 55 year old is a British journalist, but I thought I might get a rise out of the hound dogs, on the site, not that I blame them. She has great football acumen for sure but she's not a Jets fan.
